FIVE 🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩 hats from Britt!
That Lani magic strikes again! This time in the form of an epic mature YA/NA read (whatever you prefer to call it.) that was utterly unputdownable. I woke up this morning with every intention of being a responsible productive member of society…until this was on my kindle. All that went right out the window. Breakfast was brought to my children via postmates, I don’t remember what math is, what are dishes? Who walks dogs? I had Banner and Perry on my kindle and that was all I needed in the world. #WorthIt
I have to admit I was dying for more details on Banner’s situation for a while and I was not disappointed. Banner is his father’s son in the sense of how much kindness radiates from him with those he loves and how instantly he falls for Perry. That immediate connection these two had was freaking magnificent! Their love was so sweet. Filled with chemistry, sweetness and just the right amount of heat.
FIVE 🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩 hats from Julia!
How does Lani do it? I think she’s an alien sent here to make all our hearts flutter with her words. Gah, the fecking Spurlock family. Each and every one of those Spurlock men have made me side eye my husband wanting me to transform into them. I can’t put into words how much I freaking LOVE Banner and Perry. At first you think it is an opposites attract, and it somewhat is, but then you realize how perfectly Banner and Perry play off of each other and how alike they really are.
Banner is what teenage girl dreams are made of. Perry is the girl you wanted as a best friend. I loved getting a feel to all the new characters who I’m hoping will pop up in later books! Banner and Perry are relationship goals.
Something About That Boy will have your heart all a flutter!
