Blurb: The truth is aLIEn.
A powerful and enigmatic stranger comes to Earth with a mission and a message:
“What you believe is false. What you know is wrong.”
The stranger, who calls himself Quentin, slowly peels away the facade to reveal that humans have been manipulated since the dawn of man by shadowy forces. Earth is infested with Degans – the hideous masters of deception. Everything transpiring on the planet is merely a precursor to unspeakable horrors destined to occur in the year 2020.
The forbidden love of a human woman forces Quentin to question the true purpose of his mission and the integrity of his masters. He begins to have ominous visions of a destroyed planet, which causes him to doubt his chances of mission success.
Will the arrival of this starry messenger save Earth or accelerate its destruction?

From now on when I think about sci-fi this book will come to mind! I liked this book, a lot. Regina and Quentin both seem to have a “mission” neither realize yet to save Earth. Regina really impressed me. She’s a compelling woman and character. She’s tough, yet soft in the heart. She’s also a strong female and mother. I loved the interactions between her and her son. Quentin is still somewhat of a mystery to me. I liked him, he’s very protective and smart. At the same time he’s an alien, so I think he has a bit of mystery about him that leaves me dying to learn more.
While I enjoyed this book immensely, I will admit a bit of confusion during the first few chapters. A lot of information in a small space was confusing, but the story did level out and a lot of the confusion went away. Overall I liked it a lot and will definitely recommend this to other sci-fi lovers! I’m very excited to see where this story will go!

This book was hard to review for me. I enjoyed it a lot, but the first 20% was hard to get through. Once I got through it though it was easier to read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Wynne just wants her named clear. After delivering honey to the Steward she was forced to stay overnight and when she returned home she was labeled a whore and lost her land and received 10 lashes in front of her town. Wynne is strong though, she lives through so much and is a fighter. While searching for the Steward she finds a war going on with the Beasts. She’s kidnapped along with other females by the Beasts. Rune was a hard man to like at first. Then he kinda grew on you and by the end I ended up liking him a lot.
This book has a great lead female. One who doesn’t back down from any fight. I loved how I’m the end the Beasts ended up actually needing the females they captured instead of just using them as broodmares. All in all it was a great four star read!
Then he was pushing apart my legs, settling between my thighs, leaning over me. He smelled of smoke, leather and musk. It was terrifying, like being at the mercy of an animal.
Falsely accused, Wynne is determined to clear her name. However, a trip to petition the Steward at Brighthelme turns disastrous when the Beasts, fearsome warriors from the frozen north, raze the city. When Wynne is carried away, she’s determined to regain her freedom but Rune, her captor, has other ideas.
Beast is set in Prydain, an imaginary place that combines Anglo-Saxon England with Medieval England, the Teutonic Kingdom and the Viking Age.
WARNING: This story contains kidnapping, rape, dubious consent and graphic violence.
It is a standalone novel; no cliff-hangers.
Daughter Of The Everstar By Laura Jo Phillips

Be careful what you wish for.
Beautiful, big-hearted, and very very tall Toni Traverse may have wished she had paid that worn-out truism some thought—some very careful thought, indeed. You see, according to family legend, if you dropped a coin into an old well on the family property, a spirit that dwelt there would, very rarely, grant your wish–if it was worthy. So, on the last day she owned the property she had a coin, dropped it into the well, made a wish, and the spirit of the well deemed it to be worthy.
So, she woke up on another world, Ronan, which she was told would be her home for one year, or—if she chooses—forever. A world where she was considered petite. A world with magic, most of it broken. A world where the now all but vanished magic had taken the place of science and technology and medicine. A world where the people have conquered aging, but in which no child has been born in hundreds of years. And, a world with Markus and Linq, the impossibly handsome, unbelievably virile, amazingly tall, astonishingly strong, and meltingly sexy co-rulers of Wolf House, the most powerful House in the realm.
On Ronan, Toni isn’t just some stranger from Earth. The Bright Queen, a powerful magical being, announces her upon arrival to be the Bright Lady, who—in a strictly hierarchical society—holds a rank higher than any mortal. The Bright Queen tells Toni (and all the good people of Ronan) that she has a choice to wed the head of any of the Houses in the realm and that, having done so, it is possible that she will have a child and bring the joy of childbearing to men and women who have been without it for so long. Somehow.
But, not everyone greets Toni with open arms. Not only have the leaders of the rival Wyvern House decided that they will have her or no one will, deadly black widow spiders lurk in Wolf Castle in the form of Ursa, Marcus and Linq’s mother, and Jalina, a scheming cousin who sees Toni as a threat to her own plans to become queen of Wolf House. Toni finds herself at the center of a web of intrigue and of plots within plots, all the while coming to grips with the overwhelming attraction she feels for both brothers, and a sense of obligation to use her own knowledge and skills in conventional science and in herbology to try to bring healing to the people of Ronan. Her sense of obligation to a people she has come to love and who love her, on top of the volcanic desire she feels for both brothers, are challenges like none Toni has ever faced.
Can Toni survive the plots and schemes that abound in the castle? Can she find a way to bring her limited knowledge of the healing arts to help a people who have relied on magic for so long that they lack even the most basic medical knowledge? Will she choose to wed Markus or Linq or both or neither, and will she bear a child to bless this barren realm with fertility? Will she be able to save the realm? And, will she find the love and healing that could persuade her to make Ronan her home forever, or will she return to the life she left behind?

This book was amazing! The writing was flawless and the story building was mesmerizing! I loved everything about this world and enjoyed how utterly lost I was in this book. When you are left with nothing but a wish what do you wish for? Toni has suffered an unbelievable loss and is left with only a wish that she doesn’t truly believe in. She believes quickly when the Bright Queen shows up and offers her up a deal. Start over in a new realm and help them, or come back home after a year. She decides to help them.
Toni is so unbelievably kind and sweet yet she has a backbone and refuses to take crap from anyone! She shows these guys who live in the past that not all women whine endlessly and they do have much to offer. Markus and Linq are both two handsome, strong men who have an instant connection with Toni. After Markus acts like a butthead for a few days he realizes how dumb he’s being and straightens out. Their connection quickly grows from friendship to love. It was written so perfectly I could see it happening in real life.
Toni runs through some horrible bumps in the road but in the end comes out smarter and stronger in the long run. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this book. It truly was something I needed to escape. I’ve read all of Laura Jo Phillips books but this one quickly became a favorite and something I’ll re-read again. I hope she has more planned for this world, but if not I’m still satisfied with this ending!
Untangled (Monroe Family #7) by Nicole Dykes
🎩🎩🎩🎩 from Ari
Exes can be friends, right?
They can even live together.
No drama. No fighting. No problem.
As long as there are clear boundaries, no one will get hurt. Right?
Well, what happens when every line is crossed? Every rule is broken?
All hell breaks loose. That’s what.
I was late to game on this series because this was my first book by Nicole Dykes. Despite that I didn’t feel lost or as if I was missing information while reading this book. It read well as a standalone as well, capturing my attention and making me invested in the characters anyhow.
I dove right into the crazy, complicated, and angst filled world of Cam and Vanessa’s relationship…and Dani. That girl caused me to give major side eye to both her and Cam. I was #TeamVan and I was rooting for Cam and Vanessa throughout the story, but at times his behavior had me questioning wether he actually wanted to make it work. Despite that I always felt and knew that he only loved her and wanted to be with her. Also, the chemistry between Vanessa and Cam was hot! Some of those scenes had me fanning myself. Still, between breakups, trust issues, and that pesky Dani, this book had my stomach in knots from the roller coaster of emotions I felt I was riding. But that also had me glued to the pages to find out what would happen.
Filled with fantastic banter, great characters, and plenty of angst and drama to keep you on the edge of your seat, Untangled was totally worth the read. I can’t wait to see what happens next with these characters and I’ve basically added all previous books to my TBR because I need more of these Monroes and I think you do to. I’m so happy I found Nicole Dykes and these wonderful characters.

This is Urban Fantasy. This isn’t just another shifter story, this has so many elements involved that twine together to bring you a true Urban Fantasy. I loved everything about this book. Everything. Once again Petra Landon has brought a new refreshing story to us. This isn’t the same old, this is something new and exciting. Tasia is a very mysterious character, after finishing this I still have questions! (I’m sure they will be answered in later books!) The same with Raoul. Both seem to have some pretty big tragedies and mysteries in their past. Tasia is a bit naive, but she’s got a backbone and is a fast learner. When she saves someone she’s never met who happens to be a Shifter, which she was warned about, she starts on an epic adventure. One thing I am coming to love about Petra Landon’s books is that she successfully makes honest characters. I can see myself being best friends with Tasia, Hawk, Sara, and Sienna. I can see myself crushing on the imposing, strong, quick tempered Alpha. The relationships she writes are real and honest. You don’t come across that a lot in books. Back to the story, Tasia receives Pack protection and comes to find out that she seriously needs it. She’s been hiding herself for so long and hiding her magic that it’s hard for her to accept allies. Because of this there seems to be some misunderstandings between her and the Alpha, Raoul. They both have a spark that I’m hoping develops into more in a later book. They seem to need to figure themselves out before they bring themselves together.
I, obviously, loved this book. I loved the storyline which kept me intrigued the entire book. I loved the characters and want to become best friends with them. The writing was superb. I’m really looking forward to more from this series and from the author!
Never Letting Go by Erin Trejo
🎩🎩🎩🎩 and a half hats from Hatter!
It’s been a while since I’ve read a MC romance where it’s not always pretty and the Bikers aren’t sugary sweet all the time. I forgot how much I love that little bit of grit! Micah and Aubrie were once a young couple in love, but when he pushes her away they both go on to be destroyed. Ten years later after tragedy strikes they’re thrown together again. Never Letting Go is not an instant second chance love, there’s definitely instant lust and never ending attraction but the amount of bad memories between Micah and Aubrie is something they both have to work to overcome, and boy do the sparks fly during that! I loved the fact they had to work and even fight it out to come together again. It made it seem that much more real for me. In the end it made their getting back together than much more beautiful and meaningful. I’m definitely looking forward to more in this series!
Ten years ago I fucked up. I pushed the one thing I loved the most away. I watched her run as far as she could. I ruined the love we had. I threw myself into the Marine’s thinking I could get her out of my system. That didn’t work.
When I came back I got the worst news ever. Or so I thought. Now I’m forced to keep a promise I made and find the one girl that stole my heart.
AUBRIE: We had a love that was stronger than it should have been. He threw it away though. After a series of unfortunate events, I was settled and stable.
Happy? Not quiet but when Micah shows up and rocks my world to the core I’m forced back into my old life. A life I ran from. Now being back in the one place I used to call home, I don’t know where I belong.

Red’s Review: This is a modern day Salem witch hunt that will have you begging for more! Claudia is a somewhat naive teenager who believes that not all witches are evil. There has to be some good ones too, right? Wrong. Only females can be witches and they are evil, every single one. Going into this book I was hoping they were wrong, I love witch stories so there has to be a few good ones.
Claudia has a service dog, Luca, whom she despises and seems like he despises her as well. On the night of her birthday she has some friends come over and all hell breaks loose. All things dealing with the occult are banned and yet her friends find a Ouija board and pressure Claudia into using it. Her witchiness finally emerges which shocks the heck out of her and her friends. Claudia goes on the run with Luca and finds out some hard truths. Between witches hunting her and everyone else who is scared of witches hunting her she has a hard road ahead.
I found this book to be quite entertaining. I loved Claudia, even though I wanted to smack her a few times. Luca is pretty awesome as well, I’m trying hard not to give anything away concerning Luca. This was a completely different and original story. I enjoyed it, a lot. You slowly see what using powers cost Claudia and you find out why witches are so feared and hated. This was a great first book and I’m excited to see what book two will bring, let’s be honest no one saw the ending coming! I have to know what comes next for Claudia and Luca!

Now I can’t leave her.
I won’t go.
Sariel demands I hold up my end of our deal,
Fight the Fallen.
Win the war between Heaven and Hell.
But she’s the one I never thought I’d find,
I can’t let Sariel take me from her.
I need to make a choice–her or my soul?

Denying the Watcher is the highly anticipated, especially by yours truly, sequel to Waking the Watcher. And like it’s predecessor it is absolutely phenomenal!
Set nearly five years later, we catch up with vampire Devin as he shares his body with Watcher/fallen angel, Sariel. Time is nearly up on the deal Devin has struck with Sariel when he meets small, but mighty Willow. There’s an instant electric attraction and Devin soon realizes it’s not just lust, but that she’s THE ONE meant for him. So now he has to make a choice: keep his promise and help in the fight between Heaven and Hell or damn his soul and be with the one he loves.
DTW exquisitely keeps raising the bar that WTW set. Devin is the bad boy with a big….heart and Willow is the badass chick who finds herself reluctantly falling for Devin. The story, full of suspense, amazing banter, and hilarious exchanges is utterly engrossing and keeps you glued to the pages. The twists and turns keep you on the edge of your seat and the erotic scenes will scorch kindles everywhere.
Once again, the book transcends genres, just grabs you and doesn’t let go until you’re madly in love with this world, its characters, and are begging for more. This book and series are EVERYTHING AND MORE!
Fractured Love by Ella James

I was sixteen when he came to our house. Landon Jones, a boy with nothing, from nowhere. He had cinnamon hair and blue eyes—light blue, just like mine. When we went out as a family with my foster brother, people asked if Landon was my twin. He wasn’t. That year, we found out how much he wasn’t. When my parents caught us, they threw Landon out like trash.
Now I’m twenty-nine, a soon-to-be surgeon, like my mom and dad. I know residency is going to kick my ass, but I had no idea that it would rip my heart out, too. Not until I see him—Dr. Jones.
A standalone that is part of the Off-Limits Romance collection
‘Fractured Love’ was just fantastic. A perfect example of what a second chance romance can be when done marvelously right. I loved the story so much, but especially Landon and Evie. I rooted for them the entirety of the book. Their happiness was so well deserved for two characters who are so absolutely and completely enamored with one another. I really enjoyed this book and especially Landon. Watch out ladies, he’s the new book boyfriend everyone will be fighting over.

Helen Harper did it again! I’m so in love with this series! Ivy is my spirit animal! I enjoyed everything about this book!
Ivy is teaming up with Winter again! This time she gets a chance to be on the set of her favorite show Enchanted. They are investigating a contestant who was killed, so many things that could go wrong do. Ivy and Winter must find the killer while trying to keep their heads on straight. Not easy to do when both of them can’t keep away from each other.
We see a different side to Winter this book and I’m completely in love with him. He’s very sweet and caring while still having a stick up his butt. Ivy has grown since the last book, she is still lazy but now we know she’s also a hard worker and very caring. The things asked of her break my heart, yet she proves how big her heart is.
This is a wonderful installment to, what’s quickly becoming a favorite, the Lazy Witch series. I’m excited to see what happens next but scared at the same time! Ivy is definitely someone I want to be when I grow up! I want her cat, Brutus, as well! He cracks me up. I’m also wondering why he keeps his intelligence hidden from Ivy, but not Winter.
I’m dying for the next book, I need to know how everything turns out! I also need to know the repercussions of Winter’s scene at the end (I won’t give it away).
If you haven’t started on this journey you need to! Ivy, Winter, and Brutus are awesome! Get sucked in to this world, you won’t regret it!

BLURB (Please note the warning):
Layla Robinson is not crazy. She is suffering from unrequited love. But it’s time to move on. No more stalking, no more obsessive calling.
What she needs is a distraction. The blue-eyed guy she keeps seeing around campus could be a great one—only he is the new poetry professor—the married poetry professor.
Thomas Abrams is a stereotypical artist—rude, arrogant, and broody—but his glares and taunts don’t scare Layla. She might be bad at poetry, but she is good at reading between the lines. Beneath his prickly façade, Thomas is lonely, and Layla wants to know why. Obsessively.
Sometimes you do get what you want. Sometimes you end up in the storage room of a bar with your professor and you kiss him. Sometimes he kisses you back like the world is ending and he will never get to kiss you again. He kisses you until you forget the years of unrequited love; you forget all the rules, and you dare to reach for something that is not yours.
Gah, this book! It actually left me without any words for about a few hours. It is simply extraordinary and that is just the beginning! It’s incredibly well written, the characters are complicated, flawed…and better for it…and the plot is complex and just plain GREAT. I thought I would like this book, but not love it because it has cheating, but here am I am loving the sh*t out of it.
A forbidden romance that’s not pretty or simple or sweet. It’s messy and ugly and hard. It’s also damn hot. Those sex scenes….umm, yea, WOW! This book puts you through an amazing roller coaster of emotions. Sure your stomachs hurts through the dips and you kind of want to scream during some of it, but the exhilaration of getting through it will make you want to take the ride again and again!
Read this book. It will use up all your feelings and fill you up with better ones. Five fabulous hats.

Knox and Harper’s story continues as the Las Vegas lair – and its two infamous Co-Primes – face their most terrifying enemy yet . . .
Together, Harper and Knox have overcome just about every evil thing you can think of – from Horsemen of the Apocalypse to dark magic practitioners to Lucifer’s insistent belief that he’s hilarious. They’re looking forward to some well-earned downtime – until Harper is attacked by mercenaries in the middle of her tattoo shop. Worse still, the attackers are trying to take her wings – the ones no one is meant to know she even has.
It’s a near miss and once a furious Knox has managed to pull his demon back into line there’s only one thing clear – someone knows Harper’s secrets and is systematically setting out to destroy her. It seems likely that someone is the third Horseman – but how do they know so much about Harper? It seems the impossible might be true – they have an enemy hiding at the very heart of the lair.
To survive Harper will need to embrace power that’s darker than she’s ever experienced and even Knox can’t protect her from everything – though God knows nothing’s going to stop him trying. The stakes have never been higher, for if Harper’s taken by this new threat, Knox won’t be able to stop his demon from taking a vicious pleasure in tearing the world apart . . .
Ahhhhhhh! This is my all time favorite series. I like that it’s different from everything else out there. I love the world Suzanne Wright has built. Everything about this series and book I love. From the moment I first read Burn I knew it would always be a favorite. Then Blaze came along and I was so excited, but this book puts the others out of the top book spot. Ashes was so much more than I expected. It went above and beyond my expectations. I just want to crawl up in this world and never leave. Ms. Wright was truly born to write. The world’s she weaves are magical and so very believable, even if it’s about demons or werewolves or even vampires. I can’t say enough how much I love this book!
Harper and Knox are perfect for each other. They play on each other’s strengths and weaknesses. Knox has grown so much from the demon we first met. I love getting inside his head and seeing how much Harper truly means to him. Harper has grown a lot as well, she’s not guarded around Knox anymore and she isn’t too proud to ask for help anymore. Which is good since Harper needs all the help she can get in this book. She’s constantly got people conspiring against her and it’s definitely not the time for that. I loved the surprise twist the book took (I won’t give it away) and I enjoyed it immensely even though I was in the edge of my seat scared of what would happen next. As always the writing was seamless. I definitely love Harper and Knox’s humor as well as their bloodthirsty side. I have no complaints about this book except that I wish it didn’t end! I can’t wait to see where Ms. Wright takes us next in this world and I can’t wait to see more on the twist that came up. So many new hints has made me wildly curious. I’m excited to read more of Harper and Knox as well as the rest of the gang! If you haven’t started The Dark In You series, I can’t recommend it enough. You will find yourself completely lost in this world and in love with every character. Read it!!! You won’t regret it!

I love this series. One of the things that drew me in was a note from the author in the first book saying her witch abilities would grow over time. I love seeing something new come about with her abilities in each book. Ivy and Jack are a favorite book couple of mine. They are sweet and spicy. They love each other so much but still continue to fight when needed and always make up.
I’m usually good at spotting the “bad guys” in mystery books but this one took me by surprise. I figured out some of them but not all of them. I liked the surprise though.
I enjoyed seeing how much Ivy and Jack have grown as a couple, Ivy has gotten used to being in trouble but this time she always makes sure she has back up. I love that she’s growing and letting Jack know when something possibly bad is happening. It saves some heartache for them both. Ivy’s whole family is a hoot and I love getting to see them in every book. Max will always be my favorite! The relationship with her and Max is special and I love when they have scenes together!
Overall this is a great addition to the Ivy Morgan series and I can’t wait for more to come! I am left with one question though, what did she get Jack for Christmas? 😂

This story was very refreshing. It’s not a storyline that has been done multiple times. It was very new to me and I loved it! I was pulled into this book immediately and I didn’t want it to end. The world is overrun with demons and a select few women are born with a power to kill them. They call themselves the Sisterhood. Each Sister has five guardians to protect her while she kills the demons. Sister Anne feels different, she actually likes her guards and cares about what happens to them. They fall in love. They go through a lot to be able to be together, but it’s all worth it. They find out new things that has been hidden from them, and they find out that maybe the Sisterhood isn’t as on the up and up as you believe. I adored Anne, she’s very sweet with a touch of innocent. She wants to be a good Sister but doesn’t want to be an uncaring Sister like many others. I loved everything about this book and I’m eager to read more of this world! The relationship she has with her guards is very sweet. They care for her and each one offers her something different! I loved the five guys personality! This is definitely a book going into my reread collection!

As a cassandra sangue, or blood prophet, Meg Corbyn can see the future when her skin is cut—a gift that feels more like a curse. Meg’s Controller keeps her enslaved so he can have full access to her visions. But when she escapes, the only safe place Meg can hide is at the Lakeside Courtyard—a business district operated by the Others.
Shape-shifter Simon Wolfgard is reluctant to hire the stranger who inquires about the Human Liaison job. First, he senses she’s keeping a secret, and second, she doesn’t smell like human prey. Yet a stronger instinct propels him to give Meg the job. And when he learns the truth about Meg and that she’s wanted by the government, he’ll have to decide if she’s worth the fight between humans and the Others that will surely follow.
For me this is the absolute meaning of urban fantasy. I’ve never read a book so good. Everything about this book draws you in. The world, the Others, the humans. I can’t love this book enough. The Others may seem cruel at times but they aren’t here to help the humans, they are here to help the world they live on. This has such a mixture of horror, suspense, fantasy, and maybe a touch of innocent romance. It’s hard not to give everything away, especially since I’ve read this book countless times and could quote it! The multiple POVs is very helpful in understanding each side to this world. The book follows Meg who is running away from an institute that exploits her kind. Blood prophets. A chance encounter, or fate, has her going to Simon and asking for a job on the Others Courtyard where human law does not apply. Meg doesn’t know how to be a human since she was locked away for so long so she’s something new to the Others and they quickly see her as one of their own. A lot is stirring up in Thasia and Meg will be a big part of helping the Others fix the mess. I would give this book a thousand stars if I could, it’s just that good. It’s also one of those books that would appeal to all book lovers. Male or female. It’s an amazing fantasy that you won’t want to put down!

When she sells her house and moves into an apartment block to save money, she meets her new neighbour, Logan. Writing her new romance book in secret, she draws inspiration from her growing feelings for him, including an awkward conversation that culminates in his confusion and hurt.
Olivia’s insecurities run deep, and as they get past their issues to embark on a romantic relationship, she struggles at times with trust. Can Logan show her that what they have is something real?
Stand alone story in the Friends series.
This is a down in the dumps, bad day book. Have you had a bad day and need to escape a little? This book will lift you up. It’s a great story about a single mom, with a jerk of an ex, and a sweet guy falling in love. Olivia gets a shock when her husband leaves her and her two boys, she can’t afford her house anymore so she sells it and moves into an apartment where she meets Logan. Logan is a sweet guy and immediately starts a friendly relationship with her and her two boys. He is an amazing father figure to her boys, especially since their dad has nothing to do with them. I felt like this was a genuine love story, something that a friend would be telling me how her and her husband met. Olivia and Logan are very relatable. The pace was just right, the love was just right. I couldn’t put this book down even when I was mad at Logan. They run into a bump in the road but recover quickly. I can’t recommend this pick me up book enough! I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future!

Blurb: Hard Work Will Pay Off Later. Laziness Pays Off Now.
Let’s get one thing straight – Ivy Wilde is not a heroine. In fact, she’s probably the last witch in the world who you’d call if you needed a magical helping hand. If it were down to Ivy, she’d spend all day every day on her sofa where she could watch TV, munch junk food and talk to her feline familiar to her heart’s content.
However, when a bureaucratic disaster ends up with Ivy as the victim of a case of mistaken identity, she’s yanked very unwillingly into Arcane Branch, the investigative department of the Hallowed Order of Magical Enlightenment. Her problems are quadrupled when a valuable object is stolen right from under the Order’s noses.
It doesn’t exactly help that she’s been magically bound to Adeptus Exemptus Raphael Winter. He might have piercing sapphire eyes and a body which a cover model would be proud of but, as far as Ivy’s concerned, he’s a walking advertisement for the joyless perils of too much witch-work.
And if he makes her go to the gym again, she’s definitely going to turn him into a frog.
Love, love, love this book! Ivy is my kind of girl, lazy! This book had me laughing out loud so many times! A lazy witch and a straight laced witch. Don’t think they mesh? Read this, you will see how much opposites do really attract. Ivy is lazy, kicked out of the magical institute known as the Order she drives a taxi and sleeps. A lot. While she’s taking care of her neighbors cat she gets accidentally mistaken for her neighbor and is bonded to Rafe. Hilariousness ensues. He’s so straight laced that the lazy Ivy grates on his nerves, constantly. Then he notices how awesome she is, while trying not to laugh at her, and his feelings change. I want more Rafe and Ivy, together they were funny with a very few sweet moments. I hope as the series goes on that they get together and we learn more about Ivy, because I honestly really think there is something there that was only briefly talked about. One sentence has my curiosity going on overdrive! Brutus! Who could forget Brutus! He’s Ivy’s familiar and I love his vocabulary! I can’t wait to see what Helen Harper has in store for us as Ivy continues on her way!
Waking The Watcher by Kim Loraine

My ultimate downfall,
I’m shackled to a life I can’t escape.
A life I never asked for.
Now, I’m trapped–soulless,
Burdened by a Watcher lurking within.
He wants out, he wants her.
But I can’t let that happen,
Won’t let that happen.
Somehow that doesn’t matter.
I can’t have what I crave.
What I want.
What I need.
As the Watcher fights me,
Battles for control,
I refuse to succumb.
It’s a power I’ll never relinquish.
I can’t unleash what lies beneath,
Without paying the ultimate price,
And losing her in the end.”
A good friend has been recommending this book to Red and I for weeks now (WE LOVE YOU ARI!) and I finally got to sit down and read this.
Oh my goodness, Waking The Watcher blew me away! This unique twist on the paranormal made this so much more than another vampire romance. I was riveted to every page from the very start, so much so that I bought the audiobook so that I could continue with the story when I had to put my kindle down to work. Galen was so much more than your average vampire hero. The beautiful true love between him and Reese and the sacrifices he was willing to make, along with all the battles he face just for her left me with tears in my eyes. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book!

There’s no wrath like that of a witch scorned.
Avah Taylor has been given a death sentence: as one of the only spirit users in her coven, Avah has been chosen to wield The Power, the ultimate weapon against the immortal vampire species witches have been at war with for centuries. The Power, given by the gods to one witch of each generation, is considered a great honor, but every witch before has died trying to master this all-too-powerful gift, one that the shell of a mortal can’t contain for long.
On the night of her birth rite, Avah’s coven is attacked, and Avah is left for dead. Confronted with a terrible choice, Avah must decide to either die or save herself by becoming like her enemies. Forced to seek refuge among the very beings she has sworn to kill, Avah vows revenge on those who took her former life from her.
As Avah slowly transitions into a life of blood and war and battles her own feelings for a man she is supposed to hate, she realizes everything she’s been told is a lie.
Witches and vampires are locked in a seeming never ending war. Avah is a witch with a mission, control The Power and do not die. She encounters a new type of vampire while patrolling her covens property. They seem to want no fight and only fight to defend themselves. They also seem to have some kind of powers. Enter Jasik. The pace seemed to go a little fast but other than that I liked it. Avah is trying her hardest to come to the new reality that not all vampires are bad and that she herself is one. Jasik helps with this and he has so many swoon-worthy lines. I want a Jasik for myself. Avah and Jasik have a bit of a insta love (which I love), it definitely makes me wonder if there is more there, perhaps a mate type thing in later books.
This book is packed with action! It’s nice to see Avah growing into a kickbutt warrior. She tries her hardest to live through every battle she goes through. She also has Jasik by her side to protect her.
All in all through the fast pace this book was really good. Obviously I was left with more questions than answers and can’t wait for book 2 to come out so I can hopefully get them answered! If you are into paranormal and action with a bit of romance thrown in, grab this book now!
Rise of The Sea Witch by Stacey Rourke
🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩 five hats (if I could do more I would) from Red
Details of the sea witch’s banishment have been exaggerated. The body count that preempted it was not. Once an illustrious princess, her hands and tentacles were stained with the blood of thousands. No one could comprehend how the hooks of madness dragged her down from her life of privilege. Born Princess Vanessa of Atlantica, the ambitious young royal was one of two children born to the great King Poseidon. She and her brother, Triton, were groomed from birth to rule. Yet only one would ascend that coveted throne. While carefree Triton flits through his training with a cavalier demeanor and beguiling charm, Vanessa’s hunger for her father’s acceptance drives her to push herself to the limits of magic, and combat to become a leader worthy of her people. When war against the humans ravages their once regal kingdom, political sides are chosen. Factions from the seven seas challenge the existing leadership, pitting Vanessa against her brother in a vicious battle for the crown. Traitors are exposed, dark family secrets revealed, and a once strong sibling bond is strained to its breaking point. Only when the ink black waters from the ultimate betrayal rescind, will the truth be known of how the villainous sea witch rose with one name on her vengeful lips–Triton.
I can’t put into words how much I loved this book. I’m going to try though. Everything about this book drew me in. I’ve always wanted to know why Ursela was who she was, what made her hate. This book filled that curiosity in me. She goes through a lot from such a young age, she is ignored by her father and when he isn’t ignoring her hes blaming her for everything. This story goes completely in depth into what makes Ursela who she is. She encountered so much heartache and betrayal that I didn’t see how she could live. I cried throughout this book for the little girl who just wanted her father’s approval, I cried for the teenager who was constantly let down by those who should have lifted her up, I cried for the young woman who had no choice but to become the Sea Witch.
I have no complaints about this book, only that I wish there was more. We learn the story behind one of the most iconic villains. The writing was flawless, everything blended so well. I haven’t had a reaction this strong from a book in a very long time. I honestly couldn’t recommend this book enough. Read it. Love it. Feel it.
After the betrayal of friends and family she had no choice but to turn into what she did. They brought it on themselves and deserve every single punishment she doles out.

Gage Falcon’s life is turned upside down. When backed against a wall, he does what men with ‘Steel’ convictions do…take control.
Phoenix Star knows it’s going to take everything inside her to be who she is destined to be. Fresh out of college and knowing she can’t go home and get where she wants to get, she takes the path less traveled.
Redefining life sends them both down a long dirt road to…become.
What happens when two people starting over in life and needing to find some control come face to face?
I’ll be honest, when first starting Hammered I did not think it was going to be the book for me. Gage seemed a bit too rough around the edges and Phoenix seemed the same. I decided I’d keep going and see if maybe it could pull me in, and pull me in it did! I ended up staying up into the wee hours of the morning to keep reading Gage & Phoenix’s story. Don’t let Gage’s rough exterior fool you, because when he loves that man loves hard. Phoenix is also hiding a heart of gold and seeing them both finally let down the walls surrounding their hearts was a thing of beauty. Through all the turmoil going on these two tough cookies came together and stood strong. Top all that off with the hilarious and absolutely lovable mother figure of Mags and I was HOOKED.

Finding Victory is the second instalment in the Rollin’ On series and follows Kit and Bobby as they work toward their happily ever after.
She is injured, battered and a little broken after a traumatic injury late last year.
The men in her life do everything they can to help her heal, but like the injury itself, this is something Kit needs to do on her own.
She doesn’t need a man to save her, even if he really, really wants to.
Bobby finally got the girl, then he lost her. He lost a whole lot more than that in the past year.
His instinct demands he save her and exact revenge. But if it’s not what she wants, how does he choose? Can he love Kit enough to relinquish control and let her save herself?
Hearts are broken, hearts are healed, fights are fought and lives change.
The whole Rollin’ crew star in this novel, plus a few extras that you fall in love with at first sight.
Finding Victory is fast paced and heart wrenching; join Kit and Bobby as their story continues.
Just when I thought I couldn’t love the Kincaid men anymore, Emilia Finn proves that, yes, yes I can love the Kincaid men more. Bobby is still the absolute BEST kind of alpha hero who loves his woman like crazy and shows it over and over again in Finding Victory. I love, love, loved everything about Bobby and Kit even more in this book. We also get to see much more from the other family members this time around which was something I also absolutely loved. Actually, I absolutely loved every single bit of Finding Victory to be honest. I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for more!

Their romance kept me turned the pages waiting for her to give in to all his efforts and man was it worth it. My name is Kash Knight and I’m a fucking protector…
It runs deep in me, this need to dedicate myself to a woman and make her feel secure and cared for in every single way. Not just physically, but emotionally.
But when women see my hard body, all they want is for me to pleasure them and give them their ultimate fantasy. I need something more though, someone I can give my heart to.
And when my eyes land on the sassy blonde that seems too busy to put her needs first, I know without a doubt that it’s her I want to take out and show what it feels like to go out with a real man.
To be touched by a real man.
I need a chance for her to see me as something other than just a male fucking stripper– a dirty temptation that knows how to make a whole room of women hot and wet.
Slowly, I begin to work my way in and when I find out she has a son that means more to her than life itself, I want so much more than I ever could’ve fucking imagined.
I want to take care of them and show Eden what it’s like to be safe and protected.
I’m making her mine and nothing is going to stand in my way… not even him.
“Have you been with anyone other than your ex?” I have to ask, because it seems as if she hasn’t touched anyone other than him. I can tell by the sound of her breathing at just being so close to my dick.
“No,” she answers, quickly. “He was my first… there hasn’t been anyone since.”
“Fuck Eden…” I squeeze her hand in mine, just thinking about being the only other guy to be inside of her other than the father of her child.
I have no idea why that turns me on even more, but fucking shit, I want to be her next.
I want a chance to show her how a real man takes care of a woman and gives her everything she needs, and craves.
“What?” She squeezes my thigh, causing my cock to jerk. “Does that make you want me even more? Knight never did it for me.”
I nod my head and grip the steering wheel with both hands, fighting so damn hard to control myself. “You have no idea the things that makes me want to do to you. To give to you.” I place my hand over hers again and squeeze. “Especially knowing he never gave you what you deserved. A woman’s needs should always come before a man’s.”
The rest of the drive to the baseball field is spent with me trying my damned hardest to keep some kind of restraint.
It’s not easy, especially with her hand gripping my thigh, but I need to do it.
A real man knows when a woman’s ready and when that time is right; I’ll let go of all restraint, holding nothing back.
“Oh look, there’s no one here,” she says, while jumping out of my truck and shutting the door behind her.
I quickly jump out after her and reach into the bed of my truck for some balls, a bat and a couple mitts.
“You know…” she spins around and faces me, while walking backwards. “I’ve gotten pretty good over the months, while playing with my son. Just a warning.”
I believe it. Alec is damn good at playing ball. I know because I taught him.
“I guess we’ll see just how good. But I should warn you…”
“Let me guess…” she says teasingly, while looking me over. “You play better in the nude.”
I laugh and hand her the bat. “I do everything better in the nude. Again… a proven fact.” I arch a brow and grab a ball, tossing it up, before catching it. “But, I was gonna say I hit pretty far. Not sure it’ll be a fair game.”
She keeps her eyes on me, trying her best to look intimating as she strips her light jacket off and tosses it at the fence with a cocked brow.
Her confidence is pretty damn sexy right now.
“Oh yeah. Let’s play a different kind of game them, Mr. Cocky. Show me how good you are when there’s a little distraction.”
“Okay.” I laugh, dying inside to hear what she’s about to come up with. “Your rules. Like I said… I’ll do anything you want.”
She lifts a brow and steps around the fence, up to the batter box. “Whoever hits the furthest out of three balls, gets to choose an item of clothing for the other person to take off. The first person down to their underwear, loses.”
I smirk while stretching, letting her know, I’m not taking it easy on her. “You do know I strip for a living, remember? Getting me out of my clothes is pretty fucking easy.”
“Yes. But a challenge is sort of fun… don’t you agree?” She’s the one looking cocky now, as if she expects she won’t have to take much off.
“More than you know.” I undo the top few buttons of my shirt to give me some more wiggle room and walk over to stand at the pitcher’s mound. “Game fucking on.”
Placing the bat between her legs, she holds up a finger. “One sec…” I watch as she messes around behind her back as if she’s either loosening or undoing her bra. “You’re not the only one who needs a little more wiggle room,” she admits with a grin.
“Hey… I don’t have a problem with that. It’s the only thing you’re gonna have on by the time this game is through, so you might as well make sure it’s comfortable. Ready?”
“I love your confidence,” she says with a grin. It’s cute on you.” She nods and gets into a batter stance. “I’m ready.”
I grin and hold a finger up. “Wait… I’m not quite ready yet.” Placing the ball under my arm, I slowly undo my shirt and pull it open, making sure she gets a nice view of my chest and abs.
“You play dirty, I see.” She shakes her head and puts on a serious face. “Show me what you got, big guy.”
“You sure you want me to?” I lift a brow and reach down to unbutton my jeans.
“That’s not what I meant!” she yells.
“Oh.” I smile. “Just checking…”
I catch her gaze zone in on my chest, watching it flex as I prepare to pitch the ball.
“Hey!” I yell. “Eye on the ball.”
“Just throw it,” she demands, while looking up and pretending she wasn’t just staring at my body. “I’m ready.”
Keeping my gaze on her, I throw the ball and smile when she misses.
“That was my warm up swing,” she says with a small smile. “Don’t judge me just yet.”
“I wasn’t going to blame it on my body or anything…” I reach up and catch the ball as she tosses it back. “I swear.”
“Good. Because you’d be wrong anyway.” She smiles and gets back into position, clearing her throat a few times and fighting to keep her eyes off me. It has my confidence spiking.
After Eden takes all her swings, only hitting one out of three balls, I take a swing, hitting the first ball so far that we just let it go.
“I believe that means I’m the winner of round one…” I nod down at her feet. “I’ll start out easy so you’re not naked within the first two rounds. Lose the sandals.”
Surprising me, Eden strips her shirt off with a confidence that has my cock jumping. “I’m not worried, Kash. I won’t be naked within two rounds. So don’t take it easy on me.”
Apparently, she’s going to play by her own rules, just not the ones she set for the game.
I have no doubt she’s doing this as more of a distraction than anything. A way to get back at me for screwing up her first three swings.
And seeing as I can’t seem to take my eyes away from her perfect breasts; it might just help her at least get my shirt the rest of the way off.
“I’ve mastered multitasking pretty damn well. I’ll prove it in more ways than one, Eden.” I say next to her ear as we pass each other to switch places.
You can tell my words have worked her up a bit, because she doesn’t seem quite as confident as she prepares for the second round.
She shakes her head. “No talking… cheater.”
I laugh at her calling me a cheater. “You’re the one standing across from me topless, when all you had to lose were your shoes. You want to play… so I’m playing.”
And apparently, my dick wants to play too, because it’s standing at full attention as I take her in, standing across from me in that red, lacy bra.
“Any day now,” she taunts. “Who’s distracted now?”
I pitch her three easy balls to hit this time, wanting to make sure this game doesn’t end too fast. I’m enjoying myself with her way too damn much to let this game be over soon.
I’m actually surprised when she hits the third ball far enough to just let the ball go and use a new one.
It’s pretty fucking hot.
Especially the way her breasts bounced as she swung.
Shit… how can I play this off?
Fuck it. I won’t.
I let myself be distracted as I take my swings, not hitting them far for shit.
Truthfully, I want out of these damn clothes anyway. I want us both naked, our bodies pressed together as I give up my restraint and take her.
I want to feel her warm skin against mine, our sweaty bodies rubbing together as I bury myself deep and make her forget about Knight all together and how shitty he was to her.
I want to erase her memory with any other man, only allowing her to think about me.
Setting my gaze on hers, I pull my shirt off and toss it, before unzipping my jeans and yanking them off too.
This has her pulling her eyes away from mine to scan over my entire body.
“Your turn,” I say, not giving her a chance to ask me why I took off two items of clothing instead of one.
She’ll find out soon enough…
Where do I start with this book? I haven’t read any of the other Walk of Shame books and plan on starting them soon. Kash is everything you hope for in a book boyfriend. He’s protective, sweet, sexy, and had a good head on his shoulders. I adored Eden. She was a strong female lead, single mom, working to make the best life possible for her son. Kash and Eden together were great! Together they were explosive!
Of course they had a few bumps to get through, including Eden’s jerk of an ex. A few miscommunication problems, but they made it through and came out better in the end. Everything about this book draws you in. I love that Kash isn’t a jerk turn good guy with the right girl, he’s completely sweet to Eden throughout the whole book. The scenes with Eden’s son just added more to the story. This will definitely be a book I reread multiple times! I can’t wait to read more of these guys 😍

Not every girl needs to be saved. Not every girl wants a knight in shining armour.
Kit Reilly is strong, hardworking and fiercely independent, but when a death in the family results in an inherited belligerent teenage dependent, she longs for simpler times.
She lives day to day, trying to keep her head above water, and she tries to encourage her new house mate to be a decent human being.
Bobby Kincaid is a local gym owner and professional fighter. He is a family man, through and through, but he’s not looking for more. He’s happy with the one he has. He has a big fight this year, and no time, or desire for distractions.
It’s an action packed life or death race to the end.
Will Kit be able to find home again, before it’s too late?
First I have to start with a question. My question is, Emilia can I have a Bobby of my very own? 😉
Ok, seriously though. Bobby is the sweetest, most swoon-worthy, delicious hero I’ve read in quite some time. I honestly don’t think Bobby could have been a more perfect Alpha hero. And Kit? She’s the type of heroine you read and want her to be your new BFF. Her inner strength and big heart made me absolutely adore her. I fell completely in love with the entire cast of characters really. I laughed out loud at Bobby’s brothers, I wanted to just hug Kit’s best friend and Kit’s little brother Jack. I cried with them all through the heartbreaking events they endured. I cheered with them during fights, and I even cried happy tears at the end.

Wild Country Blurb:
Some have it all.
Hunter Yates truly does.
He’s humble and kind, even though he has it all. It’s his small town roots that keep him grounded. He’s a simple man from a small town with a heart of gold. Perfection carved from beauty.
As he sets off in the world, it’s his humble beginnings that keep his boots planted on the ground. Hunter finds himself amidst a toxic relationship. He struggles to get out of it, but it’s his heart that keeps him from letting go.
All he ever knew were the ways of Sweetwater Ranch, until the day he left for college. The world is a brutal place and his heart and soul are one and the same with the wild country. A ranch boy, who has everything, but gives everything at the same time.
When it’s time to decide, does he go with his heart, or the worries of everyone else?
Back Country Blurb:
There’s only one place that has the power to heal Hunter Yates. Sweetwater Ranch. His sophomore year of college was nothing less than a wild adventure.
He found everything and lost it all in a blink of an eye. With Dave in decent shape for the moment, Hunter travels home for the summer. It’s just what he needs. Time to clear his mind.
He should feel settled, fulfilled, and at peace now that he’s home on the Ranch. But he doesn’t. The dull ache in his chest too overwhelming to ignore. The natural high he always experiences while on horseback no longer exists. The grass no longer green in his eyes. The world is just that-the world.
His drive and determination have vanished. Teale Wickett destroyed him.
The thing is life goes on one meaningless day at a time. Timing has never been on his side and this time there will be no turning back this time. Dave’s health declines, leaving Hunter lost.
Will his country roots be enough to keep him grounded?
“Courage is being scared to death and saddling up anyway.” -John Wayne
Hatter’s Double Review:
This duet contains two absolutely beautiful books that make one incredible story. These go beyond just a love story between a man and a woman, although that love story is in there. What makes them so unbelievably beautiful is the true story of Hunter and Dave. A story of friendship beyond the normal that restores your faith in humanity and will make you feel every emotion from happiness all the way to heartbreak. I cried so many tears for so many different things reading this duet and finished it with a new sense of hope. That hope is because there is a real hunter out there who stood by the real Dave. Getting to read and feel their story is something I will never forget. HJ Bellus went above and beyond giving us one of the most unique and beautiful stories I have ever read.

They say Jake “The Dragon” Falcone earned his nickname by setting fire to the ice his first season in the NHL. But just between us ladies, I’m pretty sure he earned it for the dragon in his pants.
From my first hug as his fake girlfriend, it’s clear he’s packing below the belt. After a few fake dates I realize he’s packing…everywhere. Heart, brains, sex-vibe, a killer sense of humor–Jake is everything I’ve ever wanted in a man.
He’s also my client and OFF LIMITS. Oh, and he has a crazy ex who’s out for my blood.
I should steer clear, and I would, if my dragon weren’t so completely incredible…
The name sounded like a joke. Who in his right mind wants a “Miraculous Mess” running damage control on his f*cked up love life?
But by the time I leave her apartment on day one, I’m hooked on this sexy blonde. I want all of her, from the smart mouth that makes me smile to the wounded heart I know I can heal.
But can a Madison Avenue princess and a man from the wrong side of the tracks live happily ever after?
Warning: Incredible You is a standalone romantic comedy told from both the hero and heroine’s point of view.
I picked up this book on a whim. I love hockey and thought it sounded cute. I was right! This book is so sweet I might need to go to the dentist! I loved everything about the Dragon and his princess 😍. I can’t tell you how many times I laughed out loud. Their connection is instant. They have a few hiccups to conquer, but they do. Jake is one amazing guy, at first I thought I wouldn’t like him but I found out quickly that I was wrong. He does everything to make sure Shane is safe and happy. I love how quickly they realize they can’t just be friends and fake it. They chose to take a chance and it was well worth it. Of course they had a pesky ex to worry about, and there was a scary moment where I didn’t think I could go on. They persevered and came out on top and it was all worth it to push past the bad place.
I can’t recommend this book enough!

A place where everyone knows everyone, yet…
No one knows me.
I don’t know me.
If a woman doesn’t know her own name, does she really exist?
I don’t know my natural hair color, my birthdate, or where I live.
I am invisible.
To everyone, to everything, even to myself.
Except to him.
I see the recognition deep in his stare, the way it lingers on my face as if I’m a puzzle he’s desperate to put together.
I just want answers, the truth… knowledge.
His lips are sealed. Still, his eyes beguile me.
I can’t trust anyone, not even myself. Someone wants me dead, the same someone who tried to bury me in a watery grave.
They’ll come for me again… I won’t know their face.
I don’t even know mine.
I am amnesia.
I started reading Cambria’s book with the hashtag series. That series is near and dear to my heart and I never thought anything could be equal to it, let alone top it. Boy did she prove me wrong! I devoured this book in one afternoon. I absolutely could not put it down. I had to know what was going to happen next. The mystery wrapped me up and kept me riveted from the first chapter. Then topping it off with one of the sweetest heroes I have ever read. Swoon. This book is perfection! I am now impatiently waiting for the next.

Book 6 in the Phoenix Pack series
When raven shifter Riley Porter was given sanctuary by the Phoenix Pack, she let them believe she had left her flock. Reluctant to divulge the secrets of her past, she was still embraced as family. Only Tao Lukas, the protective and passionate Head Enforcer of the pack, was resistant to the enigmatic shifter. Until Riley started to arouse in him something other than suspicion.
Tao doesn’t trust lone shifters, especially ones so guarded—and tempting. But the sexual tension between them is making them both come undone, and vulnerable to more than desire. All Tao wants is for Riley to stay with him and to trust him with the truth of her past.
As Riley’s mysteries come to light, so does a danger that threatens not only her life but the safety of the entire pack. For Tao, keeping Riley safe means keeping her close—forever—as his mate.
First off I’ll be completely honest when I say Suzanne Wright is one of my all time favorite authors! She has yet to write a book that I haven’t loved! I have been impatiently waiting for Tao and Riley’s story! She didn’t disappoint! Like always we see our favorite characters from the past books. I love seeing how the pack has accepted Riley, she might be a raven shifter but she’s definitely part of the wolf pack. I’ve been curious about Tao and Riley since they were introduced. Both seemed that they carried a lot of baggage, I was worried how this mating would go. I shouldn’t have been. You learn a lot about both, you also learn why both are stubborn and a bit asshole-ish. They were probably more made for each other than any of the other couples. Tao and Riley’s love was hilarious and sweet. They work well together. As always it seems someone is after the pack again. Not just after Riley, but Taryn as well. Our wolves, and raven, kick ass like always 😉. This was an awesome installment to the Phoenix Pack series and I can’t wait for more.
Favorite quote: Riley – “It does help your case that you’ve got as much dick in your jeans as you have in your personality.”
Sugar & Gold by Emma Scott
My first born little baby review here! I had to share this one first because this book stole my heart a few days ago.

Book 2 in the Dreamcatcher series
I honestly don’t know if I can put into words how much I loved this book. Have you ever picked up a book and fallen so far in love with the characters, the world, the entire story that you forget what the real world is? That’s what Sugar & Gold was for me. Fiona and Nik’s story is one of absolute beauty. An emotional ride of highs and lows and learning what love truly is. I could not put this one down. I stayed up half the night, I went back every time I sat down while working I just could not bring myself to stop reading the beauty that is this book. This book will forever be one of my absolute favorites from now on.
