Come Back To Me by Kathy Coopmans
💥💥💥1/2 Sonic Booms from Ari
Narrators: Logan McAllister, Lacy Laurel
Length: 7 hrs, 30 mins
From USA Today Bestselling Author Kathy Coopmans comes a soul crushing story of second chance love. Come Back To Me. What does one do when everyone you love dies? How much is a woman supposed to take before she crumbles? How much? Adriana Jensen is the woman to ask. She’s lost too many people to count. The one death that destroyed her the most was her husbands. Only… he didn’t die. What does one do when forced to walk away from his wife? How much will it take to win her back? How much? Blake Jensen, Adriana’s estranged husband, is the man to ask. He has one question to ask himself. How much will it take for her to come back to me?
Come Back to Me is the heart shattering of Adriana and Blake’s love. If you’re not a fan of angst then this might not be the story for you. If you are, get ready to have your heart be at the mercy of Kathy Coopmans’ words. This second chance romance will require plenty of tissues at hand.
I had a few challenges with this story. Okay, I completely understand loss is a terrible thing to experience and that Adriana has had many losses. Still, her character tends to come off as weak and a pushover. So many of her thoughts are of self pity that it was hard to embrace her as a person and character. Then there’s Blake. He love for Adriana didn’t always feel true to me and I felt that the spark between Adriana and he was a bit weak.
On the other side of the spectrum I did quite enjoy the storyline and how the plot unfolded. It never felt like it dragged or moved too quickly. It was very well paced and thought out. Coopmans’ writing was excellent and her rich storytelling translates into the reader feeling all the feels imaginable.
Narration by Logan McAllister and Lacy Laurel was great! The chemistry and flow between them was very evident in their performance. Their interpretation of emotions was awesome! They helped me feel what the characters were experiencing and helped elevate the story.
Alpha Squad: Infiltrator: A Wolf Shifter Paranormal Romance by Lorelei Moone
💥💥💥💥 Sonic Booms from Ari
Narrator: Audrey Lusk
Length: 3 hrs, 37 mins
For love or honor… Can a fated union be enough? After serving six months on the squad, Thomas Blackwood is a true believer in Alpha Squad’s mission. Unfortunately that doesn’t change the fact that he has been serving two masters, and for a wolf shifter that is one too many. When the squad is sent in to investigate a string of crimes reported to involve a pack of renegade wolves, Thomas realizes he is playing with borrowed time. Trapped between his pack’s alpha’s orders to kill the investigation before it starts or remain true to Alpha Squad’s calling, Thomas finds there is a worse fate… What would Private Callahan think of him if she knew he was a traitor? Loyalties are tested, bonds are shaken, and some things are not meant to last. The mission – and the squad – must come first. Can two hearts meant for each other find another way? Or are things just not that simple?
This was my first book in this series, but since it is a complete standalone I didn’t have any trouble following the storyline. Each has book also has a guaranteed HEA.
As members of the Alpha Squad Jill Callahan and Thomas Blackwood must work together, but are also trying stay away from one another. Mostly because of a strong attraction for another that they can’t seem to quell. Much to their dismay, they are ordered on a mission that will force them together. Jill finds herself flustered at the news while Thomas is hopeful that perhaps this will allowing to finally get close Jill. But when Thomas informs his Alpha about the mission, he is given another set of orders that if obeyed will ruin his chances with Jill. Conflicted and with his loyalties being tested, Thomas must make a choice. And what will Jill do about it?
Alpha Squad was a well-paced, full of suspense, and with a great element of romance. A quick listen that was very well written and the storyline was a refreshing take on your typical paranormal romance. If you enjoy good PNR with strong female leads and hot, sexy shifters, this is the story for you.
This was also my first time listening to a narration by Audrey Lusk. Her accents for this audiobook were great! She really brought the characters to life and her change between accents and subtle changes in her voice for each character were great! My only gripe was that, for my liking, she sound a bit too old in comparison the characters in the book. Which was a bit distracting at first, but once I began to get sucked in by the story it almost didn’t matter to me. Fans of PNR go ahead and add this to your TBR now! 4 Stars.

Brooklyn Blues by R. E. Hargrave
💥💥💥💥💥 Sonic Booms from Ari
Narrators: Ruby Rivers, La Petite Mort
Length: 2 hrs, 13 min
By day, Brooklyn Crenshaw goes to work and does her job. She’s a working girl who follows orders and stays off the radar. Oh, and she might have a crush on WILLIAM K. BAXTER from across the hall. Each time she passes his office—with his polished name plate on the window—her gut clenches with desire at the sight of him. But he never looks up, can’t possibly know who she is, and even if he did, her needs would send him running. Because they always ran. At night, in private, she turns on her laptop so that her Sir can turn her on. Brooklyn’s never seen His face, but she knows His voice and the magic of His words. The arrangement works for her. Mostly. As the office holiday party approaches, Brooklyn starts receiving Secret Santa gifts which suggest more than casual interest, Sir reveals his fondness for exhibition and voyeurism, and WILLIAM K. BAXTER finally looks up at her, and waves. Brooklyn begins to question everything. Does she continue to follow the orders of a man who hides behind technology, but is always there, or does she take a chance on the man right in front of her who’s seen her at long last? Then there is the Secret Santa who seems to know what makes Brooklyn tick. So many decisions. ‘Tis the season… to be kinky.
This was a super fun and sexy holiday themed book. Note the adorably alluring cover.
From the very beginning, Brooklyn tests the waters of the BDSM world with Sir, a dom she meets in a chat room, but hasn’t met in person. Despite liking and being sexually attracted to Sir, she’s also drawn to a coworker who doesn’t seem to know she exist. As she explores her sexuality and allows Sir to push her limits, she begins to receive mysterious gifts. Are the gifts a way for Sir to finally convince her they should meet? Or is she in for an bigger surprise?
Despite being a short story R. E. Hargrave writes a story that is well paced, perfectly developed, and with characters that draw you in. Filled with sexy kink, suspense, and fantastic touches of humor, Brooklyn Blues is an original and tantalizing read.
Narration by Ruby Rivers as Brooklyn is spot on! She’s sexy and endearing in just the right measure. Her playful portrayal made Brooklyn all the more likeable. La Petite Mort’s performance is so good as the voice of Sir. He’s commanding and tempting and I’d be willing to do whatever he commanded. The chemistry between both narrators is also great and shows throughout their performance. Get this audiobook and have yourself a merry little Kink-mas.

Sleep, it was luxury I didn’t have.
I could hear it then, in the dark light of night, in the dusky morning…
The click of the trigger, the smell of her blood, the sound of the rain.
I never thought I would see her again.
She was a ghost.
She was dead.
When Maggie Wright pushed her way into my life, she brought the phantom with her, and I was helpless to her pull.
Everything I had, all of it, had been taken from me ten years ago. I had nothing but the shirt on my back, the memories that still burned through my veins, and the regret I drowned in every day.
I am Ryan Hartford…and I have nothing left to lose.
This was my first novel by A. M. Johnson and I am completely blown away. I’ve read and listened to so many books that I’m rarely emotionally affected by one or if I am, it is superficial at most. Sacred Hart was the exquisitely rare exception and by the end of the novel I was emotionally ruined in the best way possible.
This book follows Ryan Hartford, a man who is experiencing the most painful kind of loss imaginable. Absolutely destroyed by the sudden tragedy, he makes bad choice which now causes him to completely disconnect from everything and everyone in his past as he tried to start a new life. Despite his losses and the self inflicted isolation he’s still a good, kind person. When he encounters a little girl and her mother, things begin to change for him. Maggie, along with her daughter, begin to chip away after the wall Ryan has put up to keep everyone out and himself safe. She’s sweet, supportive and never judges him for his past mistakes and completely accepts him for who he is. As their relationship and love grows and develops so does Ryan’s ability to open up and begin to live again instead of merely exist.
Profoundly touching and absolutely beautiful, this book will etch itself into your literary soul. This book is tragic and heartbreaking, yes, but it is so much more than that. It is a gorgeous portrayal of hope, family, love and the way they can heal no matter how broken a person may be. With beautiful writing, flawed, yet relatable characters, and the ability to make the reader connect to every word and feel each emotion to their core, A. M. Johnson has instantly become one the top authors I want to read and follow.
Narration for this audiobook is absolutely incredible! Both narrators totally nail their respective performances. Teddy Hamilton was perfection as Ryan with his warm and rich voice and he made me feel all the emotions Ryan feels throughout the book. Vanessa Edwin was a new narrator for me and she was PHENOMENAL! I was blown away by her performance of Maggie and how much emotion she infused into it. Her male voice was also equally fantastic. Whoever casted them deserves a pat on the back for their amazing choice.
Endurance by Amy Daws
Narrators: Will M. Watt, Charlotte Cole
💥💥💥💥💥 From Tink
Length: 9 hrs 36 mins
He rejected her. She loathes him. Now they have to fool everyone and pretend they actually like each other. Tanner Harris has been busy shagging his way through the ladies of east London, but getting caught by the paparazzi buck-naked with his trouser snake in his hands means he’s sowed his last wild oat. Dr. Belle Ryan once thought Tanner Harris was the perfect kind of bearded bad boy she needed to relieve a bit of stress after her intense job as a surgical fellow, but an icy cold rejection from London’s sluttiest footballer puts the two at each other’s throats. Fate and a favour conspire to put Tanner and Belle back in each other’s paths and they’re forced to do a lot more than get along to save face and their careers. Rage turns to passion and tempers run sizzling hot when they realise they aren’t just falling for each other—they’re jumping head first. And neither have the endurance to keep their hands to themselves.
This book was crazy good! After reading and listening to the first book in the series, Challenge, I had high hopes and expectations for the other Harris twin. To my total joy I was not disappointed in the slightest bit!
Endurance follows Tanner Harris, superstar footballer and man-whore galore, and Belle Ryan, doctor and best friend to Tanner’s twin’s girlfriend. After an initial attraction between the two the spark seemed to fizzle out before anything could actually happen between them. A chance mishap where Belle saves Tanner from become certain fodder for the gossip rags, inadvertently forces them to pretend to be a couple to save both their professional reputations. And that whole saying about a thin line between love and hate has nothing on the thin line between hate and blistering desire.
I fell completely in love with Belle and Tanner. They’re both so strong, vibrant and their own special brand of crazy! But their crazy suits each other’s crazy so damn well! Their story is just as captivating and full of life as they are. The banter between them is phenomenal and the shenanigans will having you laughing out loud from the very beginning! This book is filled to the brim with red-hot chemistry, hilarious mishaps, and such a refreshing take on a sports romance.
Narration by Charlotte Cole is fantastic. She captures Belle’s vibrant, strong persona while delivering her softer side without making her seem weak. Will M. Watt seduces you with his performance of Tanner. His playful interpretation of the character is dazzling and he utterly captivates with his performance of Tanner in love. This narrating duo is perfection together. Five (hundred) Stars for Endurance, the narration, and Amy Daws!

With Cameron’s Contract, the second novella in the bestselling Enthrall Sessions, author Vanessa Fewings raises the stakes and deepens the passion for a world renowned psychiatrist and his beloved submissive.
First, let me say that before you listen to these audiobooks you absolutely must listen to the first three books in The Enthrall Series to appreciate the journey these characters have taken.
These two novellas reach in deep into the complexity of the director of Enthrall, Dr. Cameron Cole, and who he is. They explore his past, along with Mia’s, and entwine them with the possibility of what their future could be. Their love is beautiful and utterly captures you. But of course their story isn’t with difficulties, and secrets that threaten to destroy their them.
A perfect conclusion to an amazing series. So incredibly well written and completely engrossing. I could not stop listening once I started. The sex scenes are scorching hot, but they add to the story and aren’t simply there to fill a smutty quota. The storyline is substantial, beautiful, and captivating. Everything you’ve come to expect from the series and Vanessa Fewings writing.
Narration by Sebastian York was incredible! He brings Cameron to life perfectly. He exudes sex appeal and believably conveys his emotions and vulnerability to the listener. Plus, that voice of his is amazing. I can’t imagine a better voice actor for the part.
If you enjoy stories of BDSM and erotica, but want a well written story, substance, a beautiful romance and a whole lot of heat then run and pick up this series. Just buckle up and settle in for the ride because the twists and turns and will capture you and won’t let go until the very end. You need this series and these audiobooks!
Decadent Dreams by Nicole Garcia
Narrators: Wen Ross, Kai Kennicot
💥💥💥💥💥 from Ari
Length: 10 hours, 25 minutes
My dreams haunt me. I feel as if I am falling into a pit of impending doom, but even that has not prepared me for the roller-coaster of emotions that flood over me when I’m near Phoenix. I have to keep my distance from her. I need to. It’s the only thing I can do to keep from getting hurt again. Staying away from her proves to be a much harder task than I could have ever imagined. She’s not only my assistant, she’s half my age. She gets under my skin and irritates the shit out of me, yet, one smile, one laugh, and I’m melting into a puddle at her feet. Falling in love with her is a bad idea, a very bad idea because she just may be the one who breaks my heart for good this time.
Nico is my boss. He’s demanding, bitter, brooding, and a downright bully at times. But, all that doesn’t deter me from him at all because I can see the kindness and compassion in his eyes. I know the secret he’s keeping from everyone and why he’s so guarded with his heart. I don’t care about his secret, nor do I care that he’s twice my age. What matters is the undeniable attraction we feel for each other. If only he can just let go of the past and see what’s right in front of him.
This audio was so good! Sexy as sin older boss and young, vibrant, and sassy younger assistant? Yes, please! Although I had listened to other audiobooks by Nicole Garcia, this was the first full length novel and audio and it didn’t disappoint. The characters are so vibrant and wonderful. Nico is the epitome of an alpha male and I was so happy to read/listen to how strong a character Phe is. Together Nico and Phe are delicious, hilarious, and decadently erotic. Plus, you’ll definitely want to here about the Hot Fudge!
As far as narration, Kai Kennicot and Wen Ross convey the characters perfectly in this audiobook. The audiobook, recorded in duet style narration, is probably their best audiobook to date! Performed with so much heart, filled with heat, and written with humor, Decadent Dreams is a must listen/read.
Waking the Watcher by Kim Loraine
Narrators: Will M. Watt, Susan Fouche
💥💥💥💥💥 from Ari (But it deserves 10)
Length: 7 hours, 36 minutes
My ultimate downfall,
I’m shackled to a life I can’t escape.
A life I never asked for.
Now, I’m trapped–soulless,
Burdened by a Watcher lurking within.
He wants out, he wants her.
But I can’t let that happen,
Won’t let that happen.
Somehow that doesn’t matter.
I can’t have what I crave.
What I want.
What I need.
As the Watcher fights me,
Battles for control,
I refuse to succumb.
It’s a power I’ll never relinquish.
I can’t unleash what lies beneath,
Without paying the ultimate price,
And losing her in the end.
Oh my goodness there aren’t enough words to gush about this (audio)book! Absolutely AMAZING. In a book world full of the been-there-read-that storyline Waking The Watcher is not only refreshing, it’s exceptional. The story captivates you, the characters keep you invested, and the eroticism is thermonuclear! You’ll laugh, tear up, and fall in love with Galen over and over again. I could not stop reading or listening to this book! It doesn’t matter if you’re a fan of romance or a fan of paranormal, this book transcends genres. It’s just simply fantastic and everyone needs it. Kim Loraine’s writing is genius.
On top of all that, Will M. Watt and Susan Fouche are exceptional in their performances. Will absolutely dazzles with his sexy Irish brogue, American AND British accents. His transition between accents and characters is damn near as flawless as his ability to make Galen saying naughty words sound like sweet nothings. Susan is endearing and hilarious as Reece. She plays the damsel in distress, but she also infuses just the right amount of sassy into the character that Reece needs. They elevate the book stellar to heights. All. The. Stars.
Wordless by May Sage
Narrators: Lisa Zimmerman, Kale Williams
Length: 3 hrs, 21 min.
💥💥💥💥💥 Sonic Booms
The world belongs to vampires now, and twenty-one-year-old small town girl Fay Turner thought it meant that every human like her was destined to be a slave or a servant.
Then, William, an ancient vampire, came and set her free.
Enrolled in the prestigious New York Academy, alongside humans and vampires alike, she learns that she wasn’t one amongst many; she was a victim. Never again. Her goal: becoming kick-ass. Then, maybe she’d somehow manage to tell the man who saved her everything she needs to say.
Developing an infatuation while solving a crime linked to an influential patriarch – and earning plenty of enemies in the process – is probably not a great idea; it doesn’t stop William. He just can’t help himself, wherever he goes, Fay is foremost in his mind, consuming him until he knows he has to have her.
This is a fantastic story. I was afraid that because the book isn’t very long that there wouldn’t be much story detail or development, but I was completely wrong. May Sage does a wonderful job at world-building and character development in such a short amount of time. I found Fay’s character vulnerable, yet feisty in just right measure. William was HOT! Handsome, rich and a complete hero. What’s not to like? My twihard self loved the little nods to Twilight because you just have to add that into a vampire book, duh. I wasn’t expecting the cliffy at the end, but so happy that the story continues that I don’t even mind! My only complaint….which isn’t really a complaint….is that I wish this audio was at least twice as long. I just didn’t want to leave this world!
The narration in this audio was really enjoyable. Lisa Zimmerman balances out Fay’s vulnerability and badassness. Kale Williams’ voice is commanding and sexy, just like William. He leaves you wanting more audio time.
I’m definitely looking forward to the next installment of the story. Like this needs to come out pronto because I’m dying to know what happens and I know you will too!

I was born into British aristocracy, but I’ve made my fortune in Manhattan. New York is now my kingdom.
Back in Britain my family are fighting over who’s the next Duke of Fairfax. The rules say it’s me–if I’m married. It’s not a trade-off worth making. I could never limit myself to just one woman.
Or so I thought until my world is turned upside down. Now, the only way I can save the empire I built is to inherit the title I’ve never wanted– so I need a wife.
To take my mind off business I need a night that’s all pleasure. I need to bury myself in a stranger
The skim of Scarlett King’s hair over my body as she bends over . . .
The scrape of her nails across my chest as she screams my name . . .
The bite of her teeth on my shoulder just as we both reach the edge . . .
It all helps me forget.
I just didn’t bargain on finding my one night stand across the boardroom table the next day.
She might be my latest conquest but I have a feeling Scarlett King might just conquer me.
I’m so absolutely thrilled with this book. Such a great story and characters. It’s such a fresh take on a love story. A bit of a second chance romance mixed with a fairytale and topped with that Louise Bay magic that made it so much better.
This is a MUST listen! I fell so in love with Ryder as much as he fell in love with Scarlett. Two characters who find in each other what they never knew they always needed. And this book is exactly what you’ve come to love about a Louise Bay novel: fun, sexy, STEAMY, and full of heart.
Narration by Saskia Maarleveld and Shane East was perfectly cast. Saskia brought out an awesome balance of vulnerability and strength to Scarlett. Meanwhile, Shane East’s voice alone oozes sex appeal as Ryder. And that perfect British accent had me constantly fanning myself.
