This is a new to me author and I will say she does an great job creating this world that I found myself immersed in. I needed to know what was going to happen next and found that I devoured this book. I cannot wait for the next as I am one of those that need to know what is going to happen next!
I am telling you, you can feel the push pull that these two main characters share. The mystery that surrounds Nicole is well written and will have you on the edge of seat wanting NO needing to know what exactly who she truly is. Alexei is torn between what is expected of him and what he truly desires.
What an amazing beginning to a series! I need the next book now!
