HOOMAHGAWD THIS WAS SO GOOD!!!!! I’ve been so curious about Cannel since she was rescued. I wasn’t sure if I’d love her or hate her because of her ex, but honestly, I should have known better. Cannel is freaking awesome. She’s such a sweetheart while still being super strong. After all she’d gone through her strength and bravery were still shining brightly throughout this book. And then there’s Will. *Whew* but that man is all the things. Outside of his serious hotness, his heart is just huge. Helping to raise his two nieces, I was already prepared to fully swoon over this, then the way he was with Cannel…my heart couldn’t handle it. He was so perfect I almost died from my heart exploding with love for this man.
