New Release +Review: Inevitable by Jenna Hartley

Release Date: April 21

When my dad asked me to intern for his best friend, I knew I should’ve said no.

I had my own plans for the summer. Ones that didn’t include revisiting my childhood crush.

Sleeping with the boss? Probably not what my dad had in mind when he asked for my help.

But from the moment I step foot in the office, I can think of little else. I still want Jonathan.

Am I willing to gamble my relationship with my dad and my heart

I’m a sucker for a good forbidden/age-gap romance and I’m so happy when I stumble on a winner. INEVITABLE by Jenna Hartley was steamy, taboo, and gives a big dose of feels! This story was my first by this author and I was really impressed as to how she manages to deliver such a SMEXY story yet make it very much about the connection between the MCs.

Speaking of which, Jonathan and Sumner (love that name!) are fantastic! Their chemistry is scorching and yet their connection is so much more than lust and physical attraction. Jonathan was swoony af, especially after he decides to finally go for his girl! I really enjoyed this story and I’m for sure going to be making my way through Jenna Hartkey’s backlist. Total rec!
