Quit Bein’ Ugly is flat out fun. Lani’s humor shines right along with some seriously hot romance and jaw dropping moments of suspense. As I tend to do whenever I get my hands on one of Lani Lynn Vale’s books, I completely devoured this in a few hours because you literally could not pay me to put it down. There was no bribery that could have made me walk away from it. I was entirely hooked on Croft and Carmichael.
Right at the start I was sucked in with an immediate sisterhood to Carmichael, because I think every woman has been there. Then the more I got to know her the more I adored her. She’s hilarious, real, and someone who I’d genuinely want to be friends with. And Croft, that man. I was admittedly just as frustrated with him as Carmichael…but that man has all the charm and is entirely oblivious in a way that is actually cute instead of obnoxious. Not to mention holy freaking hot! And just to round him out into be the total package, the way he loves Carmichael is EVERYTHING!
Quit Bein’ Ugly will keep you laughing, swooning, and going back for a re-read the second you reach the end!
