Shift of Morals is a book shrouded in mystery. We get 1 overprotective alpha, 1 mild mannered young man, and one hell of a twisted story.
When Cyrus first stumbles upon Remy he is near death. Cy does what any compassionate person would do.. Lets fast forward 10 years and we get a broody alpha, and a depressed teen who wants to be anywhere but where Cyrus is. The past creeps up and becomes the present and these two are forced to face buried memories. The question is once those memories resurface who is going to be made to suffer? Cy or Remy?
This story is far from rainbows and unicorns, but is raw and gritty. The mystery that surrounds them had me hooked. I needed to know what was going to happen. I found myself chewing on my thumb while reading this, because I needed to see how things were going to play out. I will say K. Webster did not disappoint I for one loved how everything worked out.
