Freya Barker has done it yet again! Dissecting Meredith is another incredible read jam packed with romance, suspense, emotion, and amazing characters. As a matter of fact I want to scream even more about how much I loved this book than I usually do over Freya’s books. There was just something even more uniquely special about Meredith and Jay’s book. The combination of mature romance filled with honesty creating a beautifully healthy relationship and suspense that is so well crafted, researched, and thought out you find yourself not only on the edge of your seat but throughly engrossed in discovering the truth. The romance and mystery were so well balanced it never felt like one was outshining the other, it just made for a book that kept you constantly hooked and craving what was to come on the next page.

Since taking over the county coroner’s office, Meredith “Doc” Carter has been working hard to gain the respect of both her peers and local authorities. Reporting the circumstances surrounding the death of a loved one is often a thankless part of her job. Still, those are the easier cases.
