Have you ever had one of those epic book funks that lasts for what feels like forever and nothing breaks it and you think your book mojo is dead? I was in the midst of that when I picked up Hawk and BOOM! Book funk decimated. Hawk strutted in and was all “Book funk? Hold my tattoo gun, Imma hit you with a book hangover!” and I was all “Yes, Daddy!”
Seriously. Hawk is that level of amazeballs.
This man is all the things. He’s so many things I’d have to whip out a scroll to list them all. He’s sexy. He’s fun. He’s sweet. He does that whole brood thing in a way that is just broody hot instead of annoying teenage brood. He’s got a huge heart covered in a tough exterior. AND HE FREAKING LOVES HIS DOGS! That’s like 10 bazillion points for me right there.
If you’re looking for a sweet, sexy, single parent read that will make you say “awww!” as frequently as you will be fanning yourself from the heat, Kat Savage has you covered with Hawk!

Kat Savage is a new to me author and let me just say I am so glad I found her. Hawk is the type of swoon-worthy alpha main character everyone needs in their life. He is just the right amount of broody splashed with all kinds of sexiness. He wants something more to life, but does not know exactly what that is until he meets the new girl hired for the shop. Drew is a sweet single mother who needs to find a job to support not only herself, but her young daughter Ava. When she walks into the shop she is so far out of her comfort zone, but soon realizes she is where she wants to be. Hawk and Drew’s story is sweet, has some heartache, and ultimately it one of true love and family.

Meet Kat Savage

Kat Savage resides in Louisville, Kentucky with her three beautiful children, her hunky spouse, and two spoiled dogs. She secretly has hope of getting chickens one day.

By day, she’s an office manager, pushing paperwork and daydreaming. When she’s not at her nine-to-five, she’s writing. Or thinking about writing. Or preparing books and book stuff. Or quite possibly, designing stuff for other people’s books.

She was driven to writing out of a need to distraction and self-preservation after the death of her sister in 2013. Since then, it’s snowballed into a full blown passion she can’t escape. Even on the toughest days, she wouldn’t want to.

She writes poetry packed with real, raw, and sometimes ugly truths. She won’t lie. Her goal is to make you ache, in that perfect delicious way we often secretly crave.

Shortly after putting her poetry and prose out into the world, she turned to novel writing. Savage is a natural storyteller, getting better with each book. She tries to give the characters in her novels depth, whether they’re serious or comical, she builds them in layers with the hope that you see a little of yourself in some of them.
