I didn’t much buy into the whole debate about which Penrose sister would be Cillian Fitzpatrick’s match because I just wanted the man himself and OH MY GOD he is just the best! The Villain and Cillian are a total throwback to the magic of Vicious and the spellbinding writing that made us all fall in love with L.J. Shen novels.
Cillian ran me through all the emotions and kept me glued to my Kindle. I needed to know him and what made him tick. He is cruel and cold, dark and dangerous, yet captivating and alluring despite it all. I loved him and Persephone together. Their chemistry and connection were palpable and oozed from each page. I just freaking loved them and their story. 5 stars
