Holy guacamole, dude! To say that The Hale Mafia is a rollercoaster of emotions is to put it mildly! BL Mute takes you on the freaking ride of your life with this epic story. Just when you think this story can’t possibly captivate you more BL Mute gently asks you to please hold her beer! Each book gets better until you get to the culmination with The Savage One and like the past books it does not disappoint!
My head spun, my heart raced, and never was I simultaneously more happy and upset that I couldn’t speed read because I wanted to both savor and devour this series. Yes, girl it is that good! Now all I can do with my life is just sit and pray that this gets turned into audiobooks because holy Christ on a cracker that would be epic!! All the stars.
| What an ending to this series. We pick up right where book 2 left off, and what an ending that was. This book will have you riding the emotional roller coaster all over the place. I mean seriously you feel heartbroken with Charlie, the anger that Julius exudes, and lets not forget Lucas and all his bottled up emotions. | Charlie’s life has been torn apart and even though she is heartbroken she knows she has something to fight and live now. Lucas has to come to terms with a hard truth if he is going to be able to love the woman who owns his heart. Now Julius, Julius surprised me the most in this book. That man is like an onion with all of his layers. I can’t wait to see what the author has in for him.
Plans are made, but question is will they work? Who will come out the victor, and who will meet their demise? These two know that in order to move forward they need to let go of the past. What happens when you just are not ready to let go? Follow along as these two tread water around each other. These are questions that will get answered along with will Charlie and Lucas finally realize their feelings for each other? Yes I know that this is a lot of questions, but trust me they all get answered. |
