Bound In Sacrifice is the first book I have read by this author. It has an interesting story line, but it felt a bit rushed to me. I love the whole dark fairy tale idea that this book was based off of. It just fell a little short for me. With a hero with the name The Beast you would think there would be a little more darkness about him. With the way the author describes him he is dark, delicious, and all kinds of twisted. Rosabelle our heroine is a whole lot naïve where her father and or life in general are concerned. Their relationship begins in an unconventional way, but the best ones usually do.
Now as I stated in the beginning I felt like this story was rushed. It seemed like once the characters get to point B everything goes at warp speed. I loved the build up that gets us to point B. It was intriguing and kept my interest, it was a page turner. These are the only reasons for the lower star rating. Other than this the story is really enjoyable.
