When I pulled Kirian from the icy waters of the creek behind my house, we were just twelve years old. As he looked in my direction with unseeing lavender eyes, I quickly realized our age was just about the only thing we had in common. He spoke with an accent, he had pointy ears, and he was so beautiful it made my heart ache. Oh, and he claimed to be a fae prince cursed by witches who stole his sight.

I was obsessed, and I mean OBSESSED with the prequel to this. So when I say I was excited for this book take that to be the world’s biggest understatement. I dropped everything I was doing (seriously, my husband had to continue cooking dinner for our family because I dropped that whole feeding people thing the second I saw this beauty) when this hit my kindle and dove right in with a happy squeal. Jamie Schlosser has wowed me before, but I’m here to tell you this series is something special. Not only is it something new from her but she has so beautifully written her own unique version of the Fae that it’s something new for literally everyone.
I’ve read plenty of fated mates throughout the years of my PNR obsession but not many fall under the magnificent love category the way Kirian and Quinn do. Despite the worlds between them their love blossoms in such a unique way. It’s truly something you have to read to fully appreciate the feelings that it creates. These two are so well written and their story so captivating I was fully immersed in their world. I felt like I was surrounded in magic discovering new amazing things left and right, right along with Quinn. I felt the deep love that Kirian had for Quinn pouring from the pages and filling my heart. My heart leapt with joy as these two realized how much they truly loved one another. My heart raced and dropped as events began to unfold in the Fae world.
It was a non-stop joyride of epic proportions reading this. Once again Jamie Schlosser has left me Schlossered and I cannot wait to get my hands on more from this series.
Julia’s 🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩 hat review:
Oh my stars! Can I please get an express trip to the Night Realm? Anyone have any portals lying around? Jamie Schlosser builds up such an amazing and beautiful world, I can’t help but want to escape into it. Kirian and Quinn’s story is so beautiful and breathtaking. These two have a connection and relationship built on years and years of friendship. I loved how it all came about and how Jamie wove a fantasy like no other as well as a romance sweeter than honeysuckles. (I swear I’ll never think of them the same again)
Kirian is probably one of the most sweetest guys I’ve ever read or met. The care he puts into his kingdom and Quinn was amazing to see. He cared not for himself, but for Quinn and his people. Quinn’s transformation from an insecure young girl into a beautiful and *almost* confident woman was awe-inspiring. I loved seeing those stolen moments. Quinn and Kirian have a love like no other and I can’t wait to see Damon and Zander find their mates!
The Fae King’s Curse was a riveting adventure filled with romance, action, and beauty! I need more of Jamie Schlosser’s books!

Without warning, Kirian steps forward, cradles my face in his hands, and bends down. It seems like time is in slow motion as he comes closer.
I’m frozen in place when his breath ghosts across my mouth, right before his lips press to mine.
For a glorious second, all my dreams come true.
Kirian’s mouth is just as soft as I’d imagined it would be, and this isn’t just a single peck. His lips massage and nip at mine as he kisses me over and over again.
Kiss.
The curse.
No.
Pushing at his chest, I separate from him with a gasp. “What did you do? Kirian, if you so much as kiss someone else…”
I don’t have to finish that sentence. He knows the terms of the curse just as well as I do.
Permanent.
He’ll never see again because he kissed me.
“Why?” I demand, panting. “Why would you do that?”
Gripping my shoulders, he leans down until we’re nose to nose. “Because I can live without my sight, but I cannot live without you.”
