Heather’s ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฉ review:
I have read the other 2 books in this series and all I got to say is it keeps getting better and better with each book. We FINALLY get Maria’s story. She is the most reserved of the Genevese sisters and the most bada$$. Her no non sense attitude is what has helps her deal with many issues she has dealt with in silence. Matteo is dark and just as mysterious as Maria is. They are both tenacious, headstrong, loyal, and will do anything for the familia. Matteo is perfect for Maria. She needs someone who is strong and will take away her ability to be in control all the time. As Matteo peels away at the many many walls and layers that Maria has built around herself you will learn and understand why she is as reserved as she is. A marriage of convenience turns into so much more as these two people tear away at the walls they have both resurrected around their hearts.

Deep down, in a darkest part of me that I refused to acknowledge, I wanted to

job as an attorney and dedicated her days to churning out romantic adventures.
She likes to think of her books as contemporary romance with a touch of
fantasyโat its core, her writing is about the connection between two people.
Sometimes that connection involves a little magicโฆ
steamy tension, and deliciously assertive leading men. There are no guarantees
in life, but with her books, you know everything will work out in the end.
However, a perfect ending would not be nearly as satisfying without a seemingly
insurmountable challenge. Jill loves to add plenty of adversity in her stories,
creating unforgettably dynamic characters and sneaky plot twists you will never
see coming.

junkie and loves to read when she is not lost in her own stories.
