Lexie is 32 and a successful photographer. Ryker is 21 year old, up-and-coming fashion model. When they meet for the first time in her studio during a photoshoot there’s instant chemistry even if it’s just through Lexie’s camera lens. After the photo shoot their spark quickly ignites and turns into more, but Ryker soon leaves for his next job abroad and Lexie continues to her busy work. Fate intervenes throwing them together unexpectedly and they decide to see how far they can ride their connection and wave of passion. Unfortunately, with both their hectic professional schedules and Lexie’s ex becoming more unhinged and seemingly dangerous, how long can they keep their uncertain relationship going?

I LOVED THIS STORY! It had so much goodness I don’t even know where to begin. Age-gap romance, insta lust/love, a fierce heroine, sexy as sin alpha hero, exotic locations, and a touch of suspense. Slay, Harlow Layne, SLAY! Lexie and Ryker are amazing together. They’re the perfect combination of heat and heart. Ryker is the sweetest dirty-talking alpha ever and Lexie is just… I wanted to be her! Their age difference never really meant anything and I say that in the best way possible. They just fit. I rooted for these two from the start and I just kept rooting for them harder especially when things between them got harder. I just needed them together.

Unputdownable, page-turner, and an absolute must read! The Model by Harlow Layne is what you get when you mix romance, passion, heat, a lot of heart, and sprinkle it with nail bitting suspense. 5 freaking stars!

Harlow Layne went above and beyond with this one. Seamlessly blending together the signature sweetness I always enjoy from her books with scorching heat. Typically I’m not big on older woman/younger man age gaps. There’s nothing wrong with them, I’ve just come to find when the woman is older it tends to frequently be made into a much bigger thing than if the situation were reversed and takes away from the story. That is most definitely not the case here. While it’s definitely brought up it’s also not a defining factor of Lexie and Ryder’s relationship.
Now, onto the goooooood stuff we all want to know, that heat! Holy combustible chemistry batman!! This is one of, if not the number one, hottest books Harlow Layne has written. Ryder and Lexie will have you fanning yourself frequently with how hot they are together. Add to that the real heartfelt emotion that exists between them and 🔥🔥🔥 !!!
