Heather’s 🎩🎩🎩🎩 hat review:
If you are looking for your next gritty, raw, and tormented mafia read look no further. One thing we need to keep in mind while reading this is love and hate are the two sides to the same coin. In this we get one antihero that may or may not redeem himself, and a sassy heroine who may or may not bring this mafia king to his knees.
Luca has decided to take what he feels is rightfully his. The problem is his betrothed Emilia does not feel the same. When he takes extreme measures to ensure Emilia will be his a plan is hatched. Emilia has agreed to retribution and will make it happen at all cost. Even if that means making Luca think he is getting everything his heart desires. Please follow this story as we find two very tenacious people start playing a game of cat and mouse. The next questions that arise are what happens when feelings come into play? Can the mafia king bring his queen to heel? OR Does the queen give into the revenge plan?
