Julia’s 🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩 hat review:

Insolent tells a dark tale of lust, revenge, secrets, obsession, and love. I was quickly enthralled from the first page! Moira lives in a gilded cage. A gilded cage that wishes her harm everyday. When revenge for past hurts plays out, she leaves her gilded cage for another and meets the dark Sol.

From the beginning I was drawn to Moira. She seems to fight the darkness that lives inside herself, yet she doesn’t fear death. She’s an enigma that I wanted to know more of. Sol is dark and deadly, but he also has his moments. You can’t help but fall in love with these two as they slowly succumb to their desires.

Insolent is the first I’ve read from this author, and I’m kicking myself for not finding her sooner.

Heather’s 🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩 hat review:

This story is not for the faint of heart. This is definitely a dark telling of this specific fairy tale.
Moira is a strong young lady who learned at a young age showing any kind if weakness will cause her much suffering. She was raised to be seen and not heard, and when she gets her first taste of “freedom” she slowly takes the reigns to her life back. Sol is a man on a mission and he is bound and determined not to be deterred by the red headed beauty that he now has possession of. As the two of them get to know one another you can just see how their dark souls are meant for one another.
Question is can two dark souls find the light and live their own HEA?.. If you enjoy a dark read than Insolent is definitely the book for you.

Cynthia hates writing her own bio. In her down-time, you can find her watching movies, ranging anywhere from classic to action flicks (she has a weakness for Marvel adaptations), and reading any novel she can get her hands on.
