Misty’s 🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩 hat review:

Hell of a beginning for this series. I devoured this undercover book. Laceys character is amazing and is really put through the ringer!

Lacey is a brand new detective and going undercover. She was so excited for landing the job until finding out what the undercover job was. High school all over again! She sucked it up, can’t be that bad, right? Boy was she ever wrong, never did she think she’d fall in love. Between having to not get her cover blown, remembering she’s a minor all over again and having to keep up with her lies, Lacey is in so much inner turmoil. She has to keep her head on straight, complete her undercover mission and hope that when she comes clean her lies will be forgiven.

I loved this book so hard. It’s very easy to get wrapped up in the story and not put it down. The characters are amazing and Lacey is a kickass chic, literally. I can’t wait to read the next book.

She was my student.
I should have stayed away.
I tried to stay away from her.
Tried to fight my feelings.
A lot of good that did.
Now, I might have lost her…
For good.

After catastrophe strikes, leaving Lacy shot during a drug raid, can their relationship triumph? Is willpower enough? Or, can Lacy and Damien learn, that sometimes, no matter how desperately you want something, you must let go?

Misty’s 🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩 hat review:

So many emotions and I am left speechless in the best ways. Lacey, you poor sweet girl, my heart goes out to you. First, I have to say, this is not a stand alone, you must read Love, Lust and Little Lies first. Second, I’m hooked on this series, I absolutely love it!

So this book picks up right where book 1 left off (thank God, because of that awful ending!). Lacey is deep in her undercover job to put away gang members and get the drugs off the streets. At times, she seems like she’s in over her head, but she’s determined to finish the job to make the city streets safer. Then there’s Damion, steamy, smoking hot Damion. Sweet Jesus…just let this girl get laid already.

Between Laceys Undercover job and her love for Damion, you will go through a tremendous amount of emotions. Damion, I love you, but I want to scream at you at times! This series keeps getting better and better, I can’t wait to start book 3!

Posing as a deviant student was not supposed to be this difficult. When Detective Lacy Greene signed up for an undercover operation in Fort Wayne, Indiana posing as a drug-selling high schooler, she never imagined her life would spiral so far beyond her control. Within a matter of months the main drug pipeline for the city had been eliminated. All the members of 806, a notoriously violent gang had been arrested. Then, life interrupted in the form of her a sexy high school teacher, Damien Aolani. After he broke her cover, they found themselves unable to withstand their attraction. Covertly dating her teacher added one more thing to her list of secrets to keep.

In a twist of fate, Lacy finds her emancipation revoked and placed on probation, forced to live with her new foster parent and teacher, Damien. Yet, their steamy bliss is threatened almost as soon as it starts. As dangers increase and multiple love triangles emerge, Lacy and Damien are pushed to their extremes. Can their secret relationship hold when their loyalty to each other is tested?

Misty’s 🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩 hat review:

No, no, no, this book has turned me into an emotional trainwreck! (But in a good way). Lacey, you dear sweet girl, you are being drug through the mud! Lacey is a tough trooper for sure!

So many obstacles that Lacey and Damion have been through and have over came. Just when everything starts to fall into place, BAM…another one hits. Lacey is doing an amazing job at not blowing her cover. She’s making a lot of progress with the case. Even with all the turn of events, twists you never see coming, she doesn’t give up! You learn all about Damion in this book. His secrets come all out and you’ll love him even more.

This book will play with your emotions, slowly putting them back together, while making your head spin in shock.

Cassandra cusses like a sailor, is addicted to tattoos, hardcore music, and chocolate. Her kids believe that she is an actual vampire. Oh, and occasionally, she has been known to write a book or two when not busy in her garden.

Her novels straddle the line between taboo romance and romantic suspense. With themes as complex and varied as the author herself, they are sure to leave you on the edge of your seat.
