I read the blurb for One Short Summer and I knew I needed it since I love a good sweet romance and I’m a completely sucker for friends to lovers trope. I got all the sweetness I hoped for from this romance plus plenty of swoon and some sexy thrown in. This romance was all sweet, charming, and had me smiling throughout the whole story. The chemistry between Gabe and Monica was great as friends and sizzled as they became roommates. Their flirtatious yet adorable connection was a treat to watch bloom into something bigger than their friendship. You can’t not root for them to end up together. Also, can we please talk about how swoony Gabe is?! The man is simply adorable! He’s so supportive and encouraging of Monica and he’s just a great guy. I rooted for him to get the girl the entire time.
One Short Summer by Jasmin Miller is a flirty, sexy, and super sweet romance not to be missed. It’s the perfect story to get lost in and leave you with a smile. 5 stars.
