Heather’s 🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩 hat review:
Please note out of all of the Hell Night series books this one is the darkest of them all. Please be advised the author depicts some very disturbing things that may cause triggers. With this being said the author did an amazing job with the descriptions of certain situations, and I applaud her ability at being a very talented author. I highly recommend this book, and if I could rate more than 5 stars I would!!
I have been eagerly waiting for Emo’s story. I knew it would be heart wrenching and beautiful all in one. Emo has always intrigued me and I often wondered just how Ms. Grayson would pull it off. You see he is the most complex of the characters and carries the most demons out of the four of them.
Well she wrote the perfect story for the most imperfect man. Emo has more demons than any man I have ever read about. The hell his own father put him through is unimaginable. Emo is the dark and mysterious bad boy that most women would love to claim. The problem with that is, it’s hard to claim someone who refuses to let anyone in. The guilt he carries from his childhood has clouded his judgement where relationships are concerned.
When Rella shows back up unexpectedly she turns Emo’s existence upside down. When the truth of her past comes out the boys do what they need to, to protect the girl they all love. Rella is a beautiful young woman who has survived all kinds off abuse. Human contact is not something she wants or craves until she is back with those she loves. Even then it’s really only Emo she can handle in the beginning.
The road the two of them travel is long and has a few bumps in it. Rella’s own hell caused her to make a decision when she was quite young. With this decision she is left to live a hell that no human should ever have to endure. I love how Emo comes to realize that Rella really is the one for him. Yes it takes them both awhile, but with everything they have been through I am so happy they got their HEA!!!! This was an amazing ending to an awesome series.
Misty’s 🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩 hat review:
Holy freaking Hell, this book is deep and will pull on your heart in such gut wrenching and painful ways and leave you lost for words. This series has been a really rough ride through Hell and I mean that in the best of ways. Key to Hell has got to be my favorite of them all. Emo (Azaih) has already held a special place with me and this is his story. I absolutely won’t give any spoilers, but you still don’t know all the secrets of the used to be town of Hell that was once Sweet Haven.
Through this book you learn more and more about Emo. More is explained of him and you can’t help but feel such sympathy for him. Though he may appear the most fecked up person, he is riddled with so much pain and guilt more then you could ever imagine. He truly deserves to find happiness, but he won’t let go of guilt, so he tortures himself constantly, both mentally and physically. Emo and his brothers have not only stumbled across newly found secrets, but they’ve also kept one secret hidden from everyone.
I have truly enjoyed and consumed this whole series, I’m so sad that it’s over. This book held onto some twists that I just didn’t see coming and made it my absolute favorite. You’ll feel so many things while reading about Emo, from anger and sickness, to sympathy and possibly even shed some tears too. Also those emotions make the end that much better.
