Él es de otra.

He’s married. He’s forbidden, but I want him.

Knowing what can never be kills me.

No podemos desafiar al destino, estamos destinados el uno para el otro

Ella está con él.

Pero él no es digno de ese amor, y ella siempre será mi vida.

I’ll burn the entire world to the ground until she rights her wrongs.

This will end with us, and she knows it.

Deliciously addictive. Decadently forbidden. Sinfully passionate.

C.L. Matthews has absolutely delivered with her follow up to her tantalizing and illicit novel, Firsts. With Lasts I was brought back into this world of complicated yet powerful, consuming love. And consumed I was as I devoured each and every word. Lasts is a romance that shatters taboos and leaves your heart and mind twisted and begging for more. Now I sit here with my heart tearing in two for Silas and Brax and like Leia I simply can’t choose! I need Forevers like I need my next breath and it can’t come soon enough.

Narration was done with the perfect trio of Jacob Morgan, Aaron Shedlock, and Lacy Lauren and it was perfection. Aaron Shedlock as Sy is still one of the sexiest things I’ve ever heard. Don’t even get me started about Jacob Morgan because, well, it’s Jacob freaking Morgan. The man’s voice is basically an aphrodisiac in itself, am I right? Then we have Lacy Laurel who is just fantastic as Leia. Her ability to convey her vulnerability and new found sexuality is spot on. Story and narration only keep getting better. Loved this audiobook and I can barely wait for the next one. Five stars.
