Julia’s 🎩🎩🎩🎩 hat review:

Bass Ackwards was way more than I expected. My goodness it was hot as feck! Christina and Bill have an very, very unconventional start, but who are we to judge? Christina will do anything to help her grandad, and Bill will do anything to get Christina even if it’s a bit dirty and wrong.

Christina is cool as hell. She knows what she needs and honestly gives no fecks on how to get it. I really liked her determination. Bill is an awkward as hell dude who is prone to being an asshole. He has no idea how to start anything with Christina and goes about starting it the wrong damn way. These two have some hot and sweet moments.

At first I didn’t think I’d enjoy this, but honestly after the second chapter I was all in. I love their unconventional start, and I love their sweet ending.

Heather’s 🎩🎩🎩🎩 hat review:

What can I say about this book that others haven’t said. I will say we definitely get what the blurb states. We get Bill who is a harsh man who owns who he is. Christina is our heroine who will bend over backwards for those who she loves.

What starts out as a proposition turns into so much more. The miscommunication that takes place did make me giggle a little bit. Talking was not high on their list of things to do when they were together. I will say they definitely had chemistry and the spice factor was HOT!

Misty’s 🎩🎩🎩🎩 hat review:

Omg, this book! I found myself laughing quite a few times due to bad decisions and Christina’s internal thoughts and conversations with herself. I really enjoyed this book from beginning to the end. Christina really knows how to get herself in a bind and quick decision making clearly isn’t always a good thing.
Christina is a down to earth girl who isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty. She has real life problems and even works for a jerk of a boss, Bill. She’s a very kind hearted person who is doing everything she can go take care of her grandfather. She’s given an unusual proposition from Bill and one bad decision after another. There were several times I found my self saying, “OMG!” , while laughing at the situation. This book is so realistically written. Bill is a downright ass, but also your typical male as well. This book is steamy as heck and not what I expected, but so much more!
Between all the heat and bad decisions that are so realatic , it made this book so good. I really enjoyed both Christina ‘s and Bill’s internal conversations with themselves.

“So that’s the deal.” He hadn’t moved from where he stood
the entire time. “One hour a week. I don’t kiss you, I don’t hurt you. No other
people. No talk.”
She gave a hurried little nod, as though she could sneak agreement
past her conscious objections.
“I have one more thing,” he said, moving at last toward the
door to the back. “From now on, you wear skirts or dresses. No pants.”
Her cheeks heated in an instant, as though this demand was
what made it real.
“Bill, I have like, two dresses.”
He made a growling noise and stuffed his hand into a pocket.
Retrieved his wallet. “Go buy some more.” He thumped some folded bills on the
counter, making her feel dirtier by an order of magnitude.
The door swung shut behind him again, and Christina was numb
to further reaction.
He avoided her for the rest of her shift. She avoided
contemplating what she’d done.
Insanity, apparently, felt like nothing.
Nothing until she clocked out at four and fled in the Bronco
toward a grocery run and now, somewhere that had skirts.
This is insane. You
are insane.
How did she even know he would give her the raise?
Author Bio
Eris writes dark, escape-from-reality romance full of
criminals and outcasts. Her stories are the stomping grounds for bada**
heroines, untameable alphas, a spectrum of sexuality, and a serious disregard
for convention. Expect the decadent and filthy, the crude and sublime,
sometimes all at once. Pick a safeword and grab a towel before reading.
She is a complete nerd and possible crazy cat lady. She will annoy you with
puns.
