Julia’s 🎩🎩🎩🎩 hat review:
I didn’t realize until I picked up The Panty Melter, but I needed more love after 40 books. Doesn’t hurt that this one happens to be hilarious. Violet and Deacon have a rough start, but neither can deny the amazing chemistry they share. One thing leads to another and they act on that chemistry.
Violet is hilarious. She’s a great mom, has a great head on her shoulders, and knows what she wants. Deacon, at first, comes across as a bit bossy but you soon learn that he isn’t a stick in the mud and knows how to show Violet a good time. She’s has a open mind and is a bit of a free spirit, he’s a military veteran who seems to like control. Yet they fit perfectly together.
Lili Valente gives you a very sweet, funny, and hot romance with The Panty Melter. You’ll fall in love with Violet and Deacon and their amazing kids!
Heather’s 🎩🎩🎩🎩 hat review:
The Panty Melter is the fourth book in this series. I have not read books 1-3. That is fine because this is a standalone and did not feel lost at all. This book revolves around Violet and Deacon. They are both divorced and very very attracted to one another.
Violet has been divorced for a few years, and is beginning to wonder just where time has gone. She has decided to get back into the dating dating pool, but when you get stood up the 1st time she realizes it’s not all that easy. Deacon has been divorced for years, but can not fathom why Violet keeps running from him. Of course his military background he is definitely set in his ways. Let’s just say that just because he says it doesn’t mean everyone is going to fall into line.
The push pull between the characters is what helped me devour this book. Well that and the idiosyncrasies in all the characters. Loved how some of the secondary characters are. I will say it was kind of refreshing to strengthen type of relationship that Violet has with her ex.
over forty novels, USA Today Bestseller Lili Valente writes everything from
steamy suspense to laugh-out-loud romantic comedies. A die-hard romantic and
optimist at heart, she can’t resist a story where love wins big. Because love
should always win.
not writing, Lili enjoys adventuring with her two sons, climbing on rocks,
swimming too far from shore, and asking “why” an incorrigible number of times
per day. A former yoga teacher, actor, and dancer, she is also very bendy and
good at pretending innocence when caught investigating off-limits places.
