The Mixtape Anthology was such an awesome collection of stories! Just like the musical version it gathered the best of the best and brought out all of my emotions. The stories varied from sweet to scorching and had something for everyone. Each author and story based on a song struck a cord and memory and had me wanting to “hit play” over and over again. This is one not to pass up!
Guys My Age by Saffron A. Kent:
I love the age gap trope and Ms. Kent is probable one of the best at tackling it and delivering it with raw passion, devious angst, and fearless abandon. Dean and Fallon story was just that and more and is the perfect introduction to this author and her writing. Despite it being a novella the characters were vivid and the story captivating. 5 Stars.
Broken Hallelujah by Sierra Simone:
This author can’t write a bad story if she tried! Her writing is phenomenal, enthralling, and hot as hell! Her incredible storylines are only rivaled by her amazing characters. Their chemistry always sizzle and they have you begging for more.
Say Yes by Elle Kennedy:
This story was sexy, sweet, and witty and everything I love about Elle Kennedy’s writing. The story had her special flirtatious banter and electric chemistry between the characters that I’ve come to expect and love. It was so, so good and so much fun!
