Finding Alexei by Kendall Ryan
Narration: Jason Clarke, Erin Mallon
Five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+ stars from Ari
Length: 7 hrs, 2 mins
He’s bossy, moody, and overprotective.
He’s also a pro athlete who needs to focus on winning games and staying out of the headlines.
I’m fiercely independent and need a man like I need a second period each month.
So when our worlds collide, I never expected him to be the one to jump in and save me. Especially not when my roommate disappears, leaving me with her baby.
I’m clueless about babies—and it shows. Good thing Alexei isn’t. With six nieces and nephews and an apparent hero complex, the dude is both sexy and more than capable. It’s a combination that makes it easy to forget we’re just playing house.
Footballers and babies and romance, oh my! Hang on to those ovaries ladies because Kendall Ryan is about to obliterate them care of the sweetest linebacker you ever did meet. Be still my bookworm heart! Alexei is is probably Kendall Ryan’s swoon-worthiest hero to date. Not only is a sexy as hell football player, but the man can handle a baby maybe better than he does a football! *cue ovaries exploding* Once I began listening I couldn’t stop and I’m still thinking about it days later.
This story is insta-love goodness all the way. From the cover to the characters to the voices, I was in love at first sight for me. I instantly fell in love with Alexei, Ryleigh, and baby Ella thanks to Kendall Ryan’s fantastic and perfect combination sexy and sweet! Ryleigh isn’t the typical heroine. She doesn’t want Alexei at first, but needs and accepts his help for Ella’s sake. Alexei was beyond swoon-worthy, mouthwatering, delicious, adorable, sexy, and, well you get the point! Their connection was instant and their relationship moves quickly, but it wasn’t any less satisfying. Alexei and Ryleigh were total perfection and baby Ella was the cherry on top of this romance sundae. This is my favorite Kendall Ryan book to date.
Narration for this book was everything I could want and more! Jason Clarke. Omg! I was completely swept away by his voice and performance as Alexei. I don’t honk anyone else would have done. Also, I think I’m pregnant just listening to him. Erin Mallon was nothing short of amazing, but I mean, it’s Erin Mallon. Having her on an audio book is like getting an extra narrator. And both are a freakIng great at their job! Her ‘male’ voice is so stupendous that I sometimes forget it isn’t another person. Together Clarke and Mallon have chemistry that sizzles, is electric, and just mesmerizing. I can’t get enough of this audiobook. I think I’ve listening to it about 5 times already. 5 Stars.
