New Release + Review: Teach Me Sweetly by Abby Gale

Title: Teach Me Sweetly
Author: Abby Gale
Genre: Sweet Contemporary Romance
Release Date: January 16, 2019
When I accepted the teaching position in a town the size of my thumb,
all I cared about was making some money until I was ready to pursue my dream.
My time here was supposed to have an expiration date.
My plan was simple.
Until her.
The girl with a cupcake and fascinating sadness.
Her beauty got my attention first, then her loneliness and melancholy captivated me.
Her words and pain fed my interest, but it was her heart that sealed my fate.
I came to this town with no expectations.
But I didn’t know my dream and muse was waiting for me in a school uniform.

Aptly named Teach Me Sweetly is definitely a sweet read, but still contains deeper emotions and a decent bit of heat. I personally would not call this one taboo, but I know some people will view that differently and disagree so here’s my two cents for those that are curious. While it is a teacher student romance the student, Eva, is eighteen and the teacher, Elijah, is a temporary substitute and only in his twenties so if you were on the fence because of that I’d happily say to jump in!

Both Elijah and Eva have dealt with some deep pain, Eva much more than Elijah. These two lonely people struggling in life form an immediate bond and attraction the moment they meet. What seems like a chance encounter becomes much more as life pushes them even closer together and Elijah and Eva become an adorably sweet couple despite everything. While I really did enjoy these two the fast pace of their story left out some details I feel would have brought even more life to their story and left me wishing for more on certain things.

“TEACH ME SWEETLY is a forbidden romance filled with tenderness and impossible love, and most of all, sweetness. Another heartfelt and taboo romance from Gale that her readers will adore. Just beautiful.” – Brianna Hale Author

I’m Abby Gale, an international author. I generally write erotica with little suspense in it, but I don’t like to label myself so whatever strikes my fancy will be my upcoming release.
I’m a former blogger, an avid reader, and a pharmacist aside from my author persona.
