About Blended With Pain:
Carson is a mother who has never carried a child. She’s raised Axe as her own. He is her responsibility, but she wouldn’t want her life any other way, even if it’s not exactly what she had planned.
A waitress in a small town diner. A single mother. She hides in plain sight.
Keys is a mystery to his Canadian brothers. A recent transfer from the Notorious Devils in North Dakota, and the new tech expert for the club.
His life has been one big party. No responsibilities. No relationships. No commitments.
That is, until he walks into a small diner in Texas. He recognizes her. She’s the girl from his past, and yet, she’s not–she’s all grown up. She hides a secret that once he discovers causes rage to flow through his veins.
He cannot simply let her go. He did that once–never again. Especially now that he knows the truth. He plans on keeping her as his own.
FIVE 🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩 hats from Britt!
Every single book in this series gets better and better. Blended With Pain is an addictive read that sucks you in right from the first page. Jam packed start to finish with everything from delicious heat to ugly cry emotion this is a book that will put you through the ringer and make you love it. Hayley Faiman’s writing brings every emotion to life so trust me when I say, grab the tissues, get the wine, hold yourself back from throwing your book, and try not to melt from the heat. I won’t even warn you to guard your heart because there’s no way you won’t be falling for Keys.
I’ve probably said this about every Cash Bar novel, but truthfully, don’t go looking for spoilers. These are the kind of books that you want to go into blind so that you fully experience everything from the raw and gritty kind of romance only a realistic MC read provides and the heart pounding action. Keys and Carson have a story that’s so full of major emotion and life altering experiences I found myself connecting to them in a way that it was like I was living their story right along with them.
4.5 🎩🎩🎩🎩 hats from Heather!
A wonderful 4.5 stars. This is an emotional story that has some drama with lots and lots of chemistry between the main characters. Hayley knows how to write a great MC with her heroes being realistic and rough around the edges. This story will have you wanting NO needing to know what happens next with each turn of the page.
Carson has been raising her sisters son Axe for the last few years. Her sister Sadie is something to be desired. Where Carson has maternal instincts her sister not so much. With her being the only one who has been raising Axe her protective instincts get kicked up a notch when his father shows back up. She is afraid that he will take him away from her and that is just not something she is willing to have happened.
When Ace is on a run and happens to run into his ex’s sister he finds out what has been kept from him. Was he happy not by a long shot, but he was also not going to walk away either. So with his mind made up Carson, Axe, and her eccentric neighbor make the move back up north with him. The journey has a few bumps, but the chemistry between Carson and Ace is undeniable. Not gonna lie I really wanted to boot Ace in the booty a few times with the way he acts, but I think he redeems himself by the end.

“We got a stop to make in Nevada. We’ll have an extra body with us until then. You drive?” he asks lifting his chin to Roxanne.
She snorts. Does she drive? Yeah, like a bat out of hell and too damn fast, but she drives. “Hell yeah, I drive,” she announces.
“You stay with us, you do not and repeat do not lose us. You do and I’ll find you, I’ll hunt you, and you will not like how I’ll punish you,” he growls. I hear her gulp, but I’m unable to take my eyes off of Ace’s angry gaze. He shouldn’t look as downright sexy as he does right now. I shouldn’t think he is, either.
“You,” he barks, looking down at me. “You’re on the back of my bike.”
I shake my head. “I’ve never.”
He smirks. “A virgin, nice. You’re on the back of my bike, babe. Get a jacket, jean or somethin’. If you have leather that’d be better, but something is better than nothing. Just in case I have to lay it down.”
About the Author:
I was born and raised in a small farming town in California. I met my husband when I was 16 and he was 19. We married four years later and have two little boys! We lived in Oregon for a few years while he served in the US Coast Guard.
Texas is now where we call home, where our boots rest, and where we’re raising our two little boys and a chocolate lab named Optimus Prime.
