To survive where I live, you have two options.
You can be a Normal—a cheerleader, jock, member of the debate team, or on the yearbook committee. You pretend everything is normal.
Or you can be crew.
You insult us? We hurt you.
You hurt us? We really hurt you.
And if you f*ck with us, we will end you.
My name is Bren.
I’m the only female in the Wolf Crew—the best, fiercest, and most dangerous crew there is—and we have a rule: There’s no falling in love.
Well… too late.
**Full-length novel. First book in a YA Series. This book is dark, violent, and not for the faint of heart.**
Julia’s 🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩 hat review:
I know I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Tijan has a way of pulling all emotions from you with her books. You can’t just pick one up and read it, you feel it. Crew is no different. You feel so much from Bren. From her crew. Her emotions are so freaking real. She has suffered through so much. I loved Bren, and I loved Cross. They were so imperfectly perfect for each other! The world of “crews” are so much more complex than you would ever think. They are family. They are so close. Yes, they have their fights, but no matter what they stick together and have each other’s back. It makes you wish you were part of a crew in high school and as an adult.
Bren is a complex character. She will never be a girly girl or a “princess”, she will always be a tough as nails chick who isn’t scared of much. I loved how strong she is and how even when she feels vulnerable, she’s honestly not. Cross is a bit of a mystery. He portrays himself one way to everyone else, then you see the real him with Bren.
Tijan, once again, created an amazing story with powerful characters and compelling writing! Bren’s story will captivate you. You will be so sucked in you won’t be able to put it down for a second! I can not wait for more with Bren and Cross!
