A second chance filled with swoony sweetness, delicious steam, and over 40! Restored Dreams was a fantastic change of pace from the constant stream of couples in their twenties. Not that I don’t love those too, it’s just nice to find something more diverse and relatable to so many readers out there. L.B. Dunbar does a magnificent job bringing her characters to life with Lily and Brut in a way that hooked me immediately.
Their story was equal parts heart wrenching and emotional from their past and adorably sweet in their present. Everything I love in second chance romance is alive in this book and kept me glued to the pages. Healing and forgiveness, first and forever love, beautiful romance, and emotion that you can really feel all fly off the pages in Restored Dreams.
Coca-Cola, and romance. Her reading journey began with a deep love of fairy
tales, medieval knights, Regency debauchery, and alpha males. She loves a deep
belly laugh and a strong hug. Occasionally, she has the energy of a Jack
Russell terrier. Accused—yes, that’s the correct word—of having an overactive
imagination, to her benefit, such an imagination works well. Author of over two
dozen novels, she’s created sweet, small town worlds; rock star mayhem; MMA
chaos; sexy rom-coms for the over 40; and intrigue on an island of redemption.
In addition, she is earning a title as the “myth and legend lady” for her
modernizations of mythology as elda lore. Her other duties in life include
mother to four children and wife to the one and only.
