LOVE SET IN THE EXPLOSIVE WORLD OF THE NBA…
Think you know what it’s like being a baller’s girl?
My fairy tale is upside down.
A happily never after.
I kissed the prince and he turned into a fraud.
I was a fool, and his love – fool’s gold.
Now there’s a new player in the game, August West.
One of the NBA’s brightest stars.
He wants me. I want him.
But my past, my fraudulent prince, just won’t let me go
*Some aspects of this story may be sensitive for some readers.
I loved, loved, LOVED this book! Iris and August’s story is heart achingly gorgeous. A story of difficult choices, bad timing, and perseverance. Iris is such an amazing female character. Her journey left me breathless and her strength and determination gave me strength in return. Witnessing her pain was difficult, but important. August was incredible. His love for Iris is resolute and unwavering. He is her anchor and they are each other’s home.
Kennedy Ryan left me in awe and took my breath me away with this book. Although my heart ached for these characters their story gave me hope and will stay with me for a very long time. Beautiful, heartbreaking and significant, Long Shot is a book not to be missed and once you read it never to be forgotten. All the stars.
Sean Crisden and Jo Raylan are sheer perfection narrating this book. Their performances captured every emotion in the story. Each smile, all the pain, every moment of happiness was brought to life with their narration. It was phenomenal! Five stars.
