Julia’s 🎩🎩🎩🎩 hat review:

I have been saying forever now how I want a PNR MC book, so I was so excited to see this one pop up! If you love Greek mythology and MC books, you’ve found your next read! Elek is a gryphon who is seeking revenge. After a scorned woman he turned down kidnapped his sister he has been hell bent on seeking her out and getting revenge. That leads him to New Orleans where he meets the talented and beautiful Lyric. Lyric has some things hidden from her that reveal themselves in dreams. When it all comes out, you are steeped in even more mythology!

I loved Elek, he is a strong and protective guy. Lyric is a rebellious woman, with the talent of the fiddle. Lyric is the type of character that you love despite her flaws. She is a very real character and just wants to be herself. Something we all can relate to. The different creatures and myths thrown in make this story that much more lovable and give it an air of mystery. Diana Marie DuBois combined my two favorite genres beautifully and seamlessly!

As a young girl, Diana Marie Dubois was an avid reader and was often found in the local public library. Now you find her working in her local library. Hailing from the culture filled state of Louisiana, just outside of New Orleans; her biggest inspiration has always been the infamous Anne Rice and her tales of Vampires. It was those very stories that inspired Diana to take hold of her dreams and begin writing. She lives in the country with her Great Dane Elysia.
