In my world as a cop, things were either black or white. Right or wrong. Then Bailey arrived, challenging all my principles. She had a mouth on her, the level of sass matching the exaggerated swing of her hips. I couldn’t get her out of my head, even knowing she wasn’t right for me. I tried to stay away, I really did. But once I had a taste, I kept coming back for more. Something didn’t add up though, and I would figure it out even if it ultimately meant we couldn’t be together.

The only thing sexier than his dimple was the set of handcuffs the hottie detective threatened to use on me. If only he’d give me a chance to show him I was more than the tough-girl exterior I’d carefully crafted over the years. Oh yeah, and if I wasn’t engaged in criminal activity that would land me in handcuffs…and not in a sexy way. More like an orange jumpsuit way, and I can tell you now, no way in hell would I be caught dead in an ugly jumpsuit.

No matter which way this thing ends, I’ll be in handcuffs. The question is, will Jack join me in the grey area? Or will I have to do the impossible and admit I was wrong?

Only Marika Ray could make me cry, laugh, and happy sigh back to back the way I did while reading Handcuffed Hussy! Iโ€™ve devoured every book in the Beach Squad series since her debut, so for me Bailey is someone I already loved. But man, after reading this I think Bailey may be the character I relate to most in this series. With a past incredibly close to my own I immediately felt an even deeper connection to Bailey right from the start.

Marika has a beautiful way of making her books lighthearted and sweet but still giving you a true hit to the feels that takes them to the next level and Handcuffed Hussy highlights this perfectly. Baileyโ€™s grey to Jackโ€™s black and white pulled me in so many directions. The chemistry between them is even more intense than the glimpses weโ€™ve gotten in other books. The sparks fly off the pages every time Bailey and Jack are around each other building into a sexual tension that explodes each time their walls crumble just a bit.

The definition of opposites attract, thereโ€™s some great banter to go right along with the steamy flirtation that had me giggling more than once. Even with the two very different sides of the law between them thereโ€™s no denying the signature sweetness Iโ€™ve come to adore from this series is still in full force making for some serious swoon. All of that with the sisterhood that is the Beach Squad made Handcuffed Hussy an incredible read, but something that really brought it up to give this all the stars level for me was the fact you could feel the intense passion Bailey had for why she does what she does and thatโ€™s something thatโ€™s also near and dear to my heart. Thereโ€™s an underlying message in this incredibly sweet and swoony read that the world definitely needs right now and I couldnโ€™t be happier to see an author whoโ€™s work I have come to love so much giving it a voice!
