Ingredients: one seriously hot chef for a boss + one sassy employee who always says what’s on her mind = a sexy and flirty romance about trying to resist the irresistible…

Finn King. He’s sexy, single, successful and hotter than anything that comes out of his kitchen. His focus lies on the perfection of his food, and becoming a celebrity chef. Women and love aren’t on his list of priorities until in walks Hailee with her smart mouth and flaming red hair. She challenges him at every turn, and he just can’t get enough of it.

Hailee Ferris doesn’t believe in fairy tales or happily ever afters. She learned that the hard way a long time ago. All she wants is to save up enough money to move away from the small town she’s felt trapped in her whole life. When she lies to get the job at Finn’s restaurant, the one thing she wasn’t counting on was falling for her boss.

When one accidental kiss turns their worlds upside down, now cooking isn’t the only thing heating up the kitchen…

Julia’s 🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩 hat review:

How We Fall is a sensual read that excites every part of your body, it will have you drooling and curling your toes! Omg I’ve been hungry and horny throughout this whole book, TMI I know. It was frustrating, learning all these amazing dishes this Chef can make and then have his and Hailee’s sexual chemistry steam off the pages. Woo. It was tantalizingly epic. I feel like I watched a cooking show that turned pornographic. I love it.

When two people who have felt the same hurts and pain that life can give come together and turn that hurt and pain into love, it’s just simply beautiful.

Hailee was real. She’s apprehensive on starting anything with her boss Finn. She has good reason to be. Her emotions are real. Her hesitations are real. But Finn. O em gee, Finn. He may be a master chef but he’s also a master at destroying the walls Hailee insists on putting up. He’s seriously dreamy. He has such a positive outlook on life, when his start wasn’t so great. I’ll admit, Hailee is going to frustrate you. She’s so far in the pain it takes a lot to get her out. Luckily Finn is up for the job!

I am beyond in love with this book. The writing was flawless. The emotions real and gripping. The characters flawed but so lovable. Everything about How We Fall screams five stars.

She loves writing very real and very flawed characters and writing about real, gritty and raw romance. She’s a romance junkie and happy endings addict, and if you’re a lover of deeply emotional, flawed and raw reads with lots of delicious angst, her books are for you. Alyne’s stories involve characters with bigger problems than just finding love. She writes stories about making peace with the past, rekindling old flames and healing old wounds. She loves small towns, men in uniform and alpha males with a heart of gold.

She began her story-telling journey first with her dolls, then it progressed to paper. She has a deep love for anything romantic, and she’s a believer that in love anything is possible.

When Alyne isn’t writing, you can find her reading, hanging out with her cat, and spending time with her two children. She enjoys trips to the mountains just as much as trips to the wine cellar, live music, chick flick movie marathons and hanging out with her eclectic group of friends.
