Wall Street Journal bestselling author Ilsa Madden-Mills and USA Today bestselling author Tia Louise are back with an all-new romantic comedy filled with Southern sass and steamy scenes that will have you laughing out loud and fanning yourself. Pour the sweet tea and get ready…
“The best way to get over your sh**ty ex-fiancé is to get under a shiny new stud…”
As soon as Mr. Tall, Blond, and Handsome walks into that bar, I know he’s the hook-up I need to get over stupid Cheater Kyle.
A few stolen kisses in a dark hallway, and I’m pretty sure we’re headed for a home run—until he disappears without a trace.
Whatever. Men are all snakes in the grass, and I don’t need a new one anyway.
I resolve to forget about his perfect lips (and chest of steel) and instead focus on turning my Granny’s old beach house into a profitable B&B.
What I don’t expect is for him to show up the next day in my kitchen!
You see, my sexy mystery man is none other than Jax Roland, the drop-dead gorgeous home improvement star of The Right Stud, and he’s got an offer I can’t refuse.
With a suitcase in one hand and a hammer in the other, he wants to move in and renovate my old house while he films his new show.
But my roommate has secrets, and they threaten to rip our blossoming friendship—and possible love—apart.
When push comes to shove, is Jax really The Right Studor is he just another nail in the coffin of love?
Five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars from Ari
Ilsa Madden-Mills and Tia Louise once again deliver with another steamy, laugh-out-loud rom-com that left me with a smile on my face and feeling a happy buzz.
Jax is a property developer, but aspires to be the next big home renovation star. He has an online renovation show called The Right Stud and now he thinks he has the perfect project to launch him into HGTV stardom. Ashton can’t seem to catch a break. First she catches her fiancé cheating, then her grandmother passes away, and now she’s in danger of loosing her childhood home. Then after sharing the hottest kiss known to mankind with a stranger at a bar she’s stood up by said stranger. Just her luck, right? Well, what a surprise when the internet-famous contractor she’s hired to help her fix up her childhood home also happens to be the hot as hell stranger she shared the toe curling kiss with!
I loved me some Jax! He’s such a great hero. And for a guy who claims he doesn’t want a relationship he sure is relationship material! The way he worked so hard to help Ashton get her beloved childhood home fixed won me over completely. Plus, he’s stupid hot so that helps. Ashton is amazing! Life’s dealt her some blows, but she gets right back up again. The girl is fierce! I loved them together as couple and they way they discover love with one another. Their on page chemistry was undeniable and their steam factor was high.
The Right Stud is equal parts heartwarming romance and laugh out loud comedy. A story packed with plenty of moments that left me constantly swooning and also a goat, Jean Claude Van Ram, that nearly had me in comedic tears. This was another page turner I couldn’t and didn’t want to put down and I’m so excited about what’s next for this writing duo. 5 Stars.
