BLURB:

Izzy is mine, and no curse is going to take her from me.

I never thought I’d find my mate, and I certainly didn’t think she’d be a witch.

I’ve watched my pack members find theirs time and time again, but for me, it wasn’t an option.

I do my job, fight to keep my pack safe, that’s it. But when my beauty walked into my life, there was no stopping my instinct.

I’ll do whatever it takes to keep her safe.

She may think keeping her love from me will keep me alive when her curse takes her, but I know better.

We’ll have our happily ever after. I’ll make sure of it.

REVIEW:

Izzy is young, beautiful, a siren, and a witch. She’s also cursed. Cursed to live and die young. Over and over and over again. She’s loved and lost and suffered terribly. So she’s decided there’s need to repeat this in every new life and has been guarding her heart ever since. Enter Grant. He should be completely wrong for her, except he knows they’re meant for one another and he’ll stop at nothing until she accepts that truth. Even if she fights him each step of the way.

Gah! I adored Grant. He’s freaking delicious. He’s big, strong, protective, but with a heart of gold. Izzy is fierce and extremely reluctant, but it all stemmed back to her fears and past pain so it ultimately made her relatable. As a couple Grant and Izzy were amazing. Their push-and-pull relationship made for some awesome sexual tension and terrific banter. Kim Loraine once again waves her magic author wand gives us another fab paranormal story. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

Narration was performed by Will Watt and Felicity Foster. Will Watt once again proves that there isn’t an accent he can’t master. He was absolutely perfect as swoon-worthy Grant and his Scottish accent was worth the credit alone! Felicity Foster was fantastic! She brought Izzy and her sister to life so perfectly and her her accents sounded so effortless and natural. These narrators were exceptional in their performances as they brought to life this spellbinding world and their chemistry was the stuff of magic. I’m beyond excited to listen to more from this duo in the next books in the series. 5 Stars.
