Emmett

Do. Not. Touch.
Alice Ryder came with more warning signs than a museum exhibit.
Under twenty-one. Best friend’s baby sister. Heart-broken.
I was only supposed to keep an eye on her and keep my hands to myself.
But her sunshine sucked me in.
Why did she have to want me? Why did she have to want me to save her?
I wasn’t her savior. I wasn’t the prince in her fairytale.
I was only the asshole in shining armor.

Ally

For some, heartbreak becomes a habit.
Losing so much had taught me that it’s easier to just give up the things you care about before they are taken.
Because you can’t lose what you don’t have.
I gave up the warmth of the sun and sand hoping that the cold, snowy mountains of Colorado would be able to numb whatever feelings I had left and bury the pieces of my heart under the frost.
And then I met Emmett Jameson – the King of the Mountain and my brother’s best friend.
He was cold and controlling – treating me like the child that I wasn’t.
He was everything that promised to break what was left of me.
And I needed him for it.
My shattered heart would be safe wanting someone like him.
Then again, heartbreak was my bad habit.

Five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars from Ari

Oh dear lord! Dr. Rebecca Sharp tried to kill me with this book. Can you say angst? On the Edge gave me all the damn feels, made me ache so good, and was absolutely worth every second of it.

I love the sport romance trope and I usually love, love, love the heroes that come with them. So let me make this clear: I love Emmet, but he can be a total douche canoe! Seriously, I loved to hate him and yet loved to love him even more. Why? Because Rebecca Sharp is a damn genius, that’s why! Emmet is your typical sexy, alpha guy with his asshole ways and seemingly uncaring attitude, but just under that is so much more. He’s sweet, caring, and 100% swoon-worthy. Ally is also freaking amazing. I loved the way her character balances strength and vulnerability. Whatever Emmet dishes out, Ally gives it right back to him. She doesn’t fold under his strength, in fact, she matches it easily.

Together, Emmet and Ally are amazing. I loved their sparing and their unbelievable chemistry. It sizzled off of every page and had me reaching for a cold drink because… wow! These two clearly needed to be together so sometimes I wanted to smack them and tell them to get out of their own way and just be together. But it did make form some great drama and amazing sexual tension. In the end Dr. Sharp gave me the ending I needed and that these characters deserved. I also loved seeing past characters and I’m really excited to see what’s in store for the next book!

On the Edge is an addicting, sizzling, completely-unputdownable, and emotional ride that everyone must take. Dr. Rebecca Sharp has definitely brought her A-game and I can’t wait to see what more she has in store with her next book. 5 stars.
