welcomes you to the small southern town of Treemont, NC where Love at White
Oaks is making front-page news.
Organizing a wedding for two hundred high-profile guests is a challenge for the
most seasoned of event planners. Which I’m not. Rachael and I haven’t even
finished renovating White’s Manor but I’m going to make this wedding happen…in
two weeks.

I didn’t expect was the bride’s brother to be charming, gorgeous, and none
other than Elias Holt, host of the most popular home renovation show on
television. Getting to know the real Elias makes keeping things on a
professional level a difficult task. I find him captivating, and he has the
lead role in all my dreams. Is it any wonder my no turns into a yes. Please.

I came to the small southern town of Treemont, North Carolina to help my sister
with her wedding—not to fall for the event planner. April has the most
extraordinary fiery passion of any woman I’ve ever met. My past is too jaded
with distrust to believe she’s as kind and gracious as she appears to be. I’m
sure her sweet, southern charm is all fake.

My sister leaves town unexpectedly with my promise to help April plan her
perfect wedding. Soon, seating charts and twinkle lights lead to kisses by the
falls, strolls down Main Street while holding hands, and incredible nights
together. The more time I spend with April, the harder it is to imagine
leaving. But am I brave enough to want more? And can I restore the heart I
broke with my own doubts and insecurities?

Each book in this steamy hot romantic series can be read as a standalone,
but for a richer reading experience, the following order is recommended:

Heartbreaker – April & Elias

Troublemaker – Rachael & Kyle

Julia’s 🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩 hat review:
Looking for a sweet hometown story filled with humor, love, hot sex, and a hammer? Heartbreaker is all that and more! I knew from the blurb that I had to read this! Living in North Carolina in a mill town, I knew I’d connect with these characters so much more than usual. And I did! April is every small town girl. She’s smart, beautiful, sassy, and family oriented. She stays in her small town after college to help out at her family’s florist shop and to be close to them. Her and her best friend try their hand at event planning and buy a huge Manor. Their first client is the sister of the very famous renovation guru with his own TV show. That’s when the fun starts.

I was quickly drawn into the love story of Elias and April. Both are very strong-willed and stubborn, but they also go perfectly well together. The writing was superb, the characters were very real. The whole story felt real. I truly loved it all. I’m very excited to see Rachael’s book, I’m dying to know if my thoughts are correct (Read the book and you will understand). Overall this was a very cute, sweet read that I will definitely come back and read again. I’m looking forward to more from this author! Renovations and weddings never looked so sexy!
