welcomes you to the small southern town of Treemont, NC where Love at White
Oaks is making front-page news. Organizing a wedding for two hundred high-profile guests is a challenge for the
most seasoned of event planners. Which I’m not. Rachael and I haven’t even
finished renovating White’s Manor but I’m going to make this wedding happen…in
I didn’t expect was the bride’s brother to be charming, gorgeous, and none
other than Elias Holt, host of the most popular home renovation show on
television. Getting to know the real Elias makes keeping things on a
professional level a difficult task. I find him captivating, and he has the
lead role in all my dreams. Is it any wonder my no turns into a yes. Please.
I came to the small southern town of Treemont, North Carolina to help my sister
with her wedding—not to fall for the event planner. April has the most
extraordinary fiery passion of any woman I’ve ever met. My past is too jaded
with distrust to believe she’s as kind and gracious as she appears to be. I’m
sure her sweet, southern charm is all fake.
My sister leaves town unexpectedly with my promise to help April plan her
perfect wedding. Soon, seating charts and twinkle lights lead to kisses by the
falls, strolls down Main Street while holding hands, and incredible nights
together. The more time I spend with April, the harder it is to imagine
leaving. But am I brave enough to want more? And can I restore the heart I
broke with my own doubts and insecurities?
Each book in this steamy hot romantic series can be read as a standalone,
but for a richer reading experience, the following order is recommended:
Heartbreaker – April & Elias
Troublemaker – Rachael & Kyle
I was quickly drawn into the love story of Elias and April. Both are very strong-willed and stubborn, but they also go perfectly well together. The writing was superb, the characters were very real. The whole story felt real. I truly loved it all. I’m very excited to see Rachael’s book, I’m dying to know if my thoughts are correct (Read the book and you will understand). Overall this was a very cute, sweet read that I will definitely come back and read again. I’m looking forward to more from this author! Renovations and weddings never looked so sexy!
spent years doing extensive research in preparation for writing her own stories
by reading every romance book she could get her hands on. At least that’s how
she justifies her HUGE collection of romance books to Mr. Scott.
Liz grew up
on a dairy farm in western North Carolina where she wrote her first story at
the age of thirteen. She married her high school sweetheart and they have 2
kids and 1 simply adorable grand with another on the way. With her children now
settled and on their own Liz pulled her dreams of writing back out and that
little spark that sizzled for years caught fire and is now roaring back to
to read and write stories about quirky, endearing heroines and the strong,
handsome heroes who love them to distraction. She promises you a few laughs
along the way with some steamy and charming moments thrown in but always a
happy ever after.
