Review: Company Ink by Kat Colburn

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Company Ink ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Title: Company Ink

Author: Kat Colburn

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Release: December 7th, 2017

Here is the blurb:

Office intrigue takes on a whole new meaning in this story of love, friendship, and the secrets hiding behind boardroom doors…

The Company has a rule about falling in love on the job.

I’ve never been one for rules. But I need this one. I need this rule to remind me why I can’t be with Dani Wallace.

I need this smart little foul-mouthed fighter by my side more than I need her in my bed. I need her to close this massive deal. She thinks it holds the key to her escape from cubicle hell and another shot at the life she always wanted.

But there is more riding on our success than she can possibly ever know. So I’ll keep my hands to myself and my secrets safe for one more day.

But now I can’t stop wondering what my best friend has on beneath her conservative suit. I can’t stop imagining the things that sharp mouth of hers could do to me if I leaned back in my chair and unzipped my pants. And I can’t stop pushing our flirting too far.

I’m trying to remember the rule. But some rules are made to be broken.

Four ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars from Ari

Kat Colburn is a new to me author, but the blurb to Company Ink totally caught my attention and peaked my interest. I enjoy a good office romance story and this was one of the good ones!

I’ve always loved the whole idea of falling in love at work and having that forbidden aspect of passion of romance. That’s a bit of what happens with Dani and Dan. And yes, those are totally their names! I loved Dani as a character. She’s strong, intelligent, and sassy as all get out! My favorite qualities of her were her sarcastic side and smart mouth. Nothing better than a woman who can hold her own and give a hero a run for his money. Dan was the sweetest guy ever! I liked him from the very beginning despite his secrets. Seeing their growth from friends to more was great and sweet, but my favorite part was the awesome banter they had between them. They made such an adorable couple and rooted for them the whole time.

Kat Colburn writes a sweet, slow burn of a romance with Company Ink. Packed with plenty of great banter, an ultra sassy heroine, and enough twists and turns to keep you glued to your kindle, this is one book you definitely need to read. Miss Colburn has definitely made a new follower out of me. 4 Stars.

Kat Colburn writes contemporary romances that are sweet and steamy. You can often find her plotting out the types of stories she loves to read, those that are smart, funny, and a teensy bit on the geekyside.
