Mirror, mirror on the wall.

What’s behind that fated call?

He’s the seer of present, future, and past,

Yet remains a nameless face entombed in glass.

Raised as a servant in the underwater kingdom of Atlantica, Alastor worked his way up to a regal member of the Royal Guard. Only as a decorated soldier did he stand a chance of winning the hand of the woman he’s loved since childhood … Poseidon’s only daughter, Princess Vanessa. But, when the war against humans rages, dark magics are evoked to give the mermen a fighting chance. Temporarily granted legs, they charge from the sea into a doomed battle.

Doing the bidding of his masters as a trusted pawn,

The claims of his loyalty couldn’t be more wrong.

Waking on land, with bodies all around, Alastor’s lone goal becomes returning to the ocean and the only life he’s ever known. A plan that is quickly diverted when Hades, Lord of the Underworld, appears with a twisted agenda all his own. Cast to a land far from the lapping comforts of home, Alastor’s sole companion is a troubled misfit named Sterling that soon comes to depend on him. Trained to be a hero, how far is Alastor willing to go to return to the woman he loves? And can he live with the sacrifices he’s forced to make?

Each day he schemes to break free from their thrall,

and honor a self-made vow … to kill them all.

Julia’s 🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩 hat review:
Entombed in Glass transported me into a fantastical world filled with secrets and heart break yet also a bit of hope. We start off pretty much where we ended in Vanessa’s book. Alastor wakes on the beach confused as to why he’s alive, he sees Vanessa yet can’t reach her. After Hades promises to reunite them after he completes a few tasks we are sent into a world filled with mystery, secrets, magic, and sacrifices. All so Alastor can be with Vanessa again.

Alastor has surpassed everything I thought I knew about him. He’s proven to be more. More loyal. More brave. More cunning. More smart. He’s all that and so much more, biding his time until he sees Vanessa again. His journey is one that isn’t easy. We meet so many new friends along the way that makes me excited for more. Whom Alastor chooses to ally himself with is intriguing as it is fun. The secrets revealed here had me completely blindsided. I didn’t expect the level of some of these secrets. The new ones add more mystique to this series and will have you begging for more as soon as you see “The End”.

I’ve once again fallen under Stacey Rourke’s spell. The writing had me captivated, the characters had me shocked and happy, the journey had me broken hearted and hopeful. I’ve been so excited for Alastor’s story and I wasn’t disappointed. Now we wait to see what more spells will be weaved while praying Vanessa and Alastor get their happily ever after.
