I haven’t always been this bad…
Up until recently, I was the kind of girl who wore white cotton panties and bent at the knees rather than the waist.
Pomp and circumstance changed all that.
Jaxson Cassidy was my first taste of bad, and I liked it more than I should have. Just not in the way I was meant to. I couldn’t help myself though. I found him irresistible. That sexy grin, those skilled fingers, and that dirty, dirty mouth were a lethal combination.
I wasn’t supposed to want him. I wasn’t supposed to let him put his hands on me. I wasn’t supposed to do a lot of things…but I did.
He wants to keep me close.
I should push him away.
He says he can help me.
I’m not so sure.
For some reason, he thinks there’s good left in me.
What if he’s wrong?
Everyone knows a good boy can’t turn a bad girl around.
Everyone knows it’s always the other way.
Everyone…except him.

I’m a fan of Kim Karr and her latest book, Come A Little Closer, only makes fangirl over her more! A total wild ride of emotions and great plot twists and turns, you’ll need to buckle your seat belt for this one and enjoy the ride!

Sadie Banks is not good at decisions. She’s made some bad ones in the past, a past that’s coming back to haunt her, and she hasn’t forgiven herself for. This time around she’s not the one who made her mistake, but she’s the one going down and losing her job over it. Deciding to go back to her hometown she runs into Jaxon Cassidy, a photographer and total bad decision, but Sadie isn’t good at making decisions remember?

This book left my head spinning. Whoa! I swear Kim Karr totally knocks me off my feet in the best way every time I read her books! I loved and swooned over Jaxon! The man is H-A-W-T. I’m totally laying claim over this new book boyfriend. Sorry y’all, not sorry! Sadie I had a harder time liking, but this is Kim Karr’s writing we’re talking about and of course she had me loving her and rooting for the couple in no time. And the Jaxon and Sadie were such a great couple to watch grow separately and together. Plus, their chemistry was so freaking hot! This story wasn’t completely unexpected, but it had me captivated from the start. Once I started I didn’t want to let the story and characters go.

Come A Little Closer was such a fun ride. I laughed, I swooned, and I even teared up a little, and ended up with a smile. Kim Karr once again writes a great story and even better characters. 5 Stars.
