Don’t get caught in the surge.

Through a bullet hole in a wall, I watch a man bleed to death.

Those responsible think their crime died with the victim, until I identify them.

What’s a girl to do when she’s being hunted by murderers

witness protection can’t even stop?

Run.

My only refuge is a place I vowed to never go again.

When it’s do or die, an eight-year-old heartache suddenly seems trivial.

Besides, he won’t be there anyway.

But he is.

Turns out my old pain feels brand new the second his eyes meet mine.

I can’t leave. I can’t stay.

This snowy town that’s supposed to be my shelter

suddenly exposes me more than before.

With no one else to lean on, Liam becomes my lifeline.

Now we’re both running for our lives,

trying not to get swept away.

Julia’s 🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩 hat review:
Avalanche will have your heart pumping while giving you butterflies in your stomach. Man, that was a crazy trip. I have been on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book. Worried for Bellamy and Liam. You get action from the get go. Bellamy witnessed something horrific, and then is on the run. Literally. On the run for her life she ends up at the place she first fell in love, also the place she first she suffered her first heartbreak. Liam is trying to live life after an injury takes him from the pros of snowboarding. He’s back at his family lodge trying to decide what to do with his life. Until Bellamy crashes back into his life. It’s been eight years and the connection is still there. Their feelings may have been muted, but they never went away. Between surviving and getting to know each other again we are taken on an epic ride.
One of the many things that I love about Cambria Hebert’s writing is she makes all of her characters so real. I can really believe there is a Liam and Bellamy living this life in Colorado. I can believe they have a humorous best friend following them around. As well as a sweet, big, loving Saint Bernard. I got so lost in this story I didn’t even remember eating dinner. The characters were captivating. The writing was flawless. The banter was a mix between sweet and sassy. The suspense had me jumping more than once. Avalanche is definitely a book that you will completely lose yourself in. Make sure you have time to read it in one sitting, because you won’t want to put it down!
Britt’s 🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩 hat review:

Avalanche is one of Cambria Hebert’s greatest books. Her writing is flawless, the story is captivating. Filled with suspense, passion, and love so pure you feel it coming right off the pages. Avalanche is a roller coaster of a ride that I never wanted to get off. This book completely took over my world when I started reading. I couldn’t put it down. I had to know what happened next!

Liam and Bellamy are magnificent. Not since Romeo and Rimmel have I fallen so fast and hard in love with a couple. Both of them are strong people in very different ways. Each surviving their own struggles in their years apart when these two come back together the chemistry is immediate. Sweetness and love swirl together perfectly with edge of your seat suspense and I’m dying for more!
