Baby Daddy by Kendall Ryan

Length: 5 hrs, 38 mins
We met in a trapped elevator.
Emmett was on his way to work, sophisticated and handsome in his tailored suit and tie.
I was on my way to the sperm bank. Awkward, right?
At thirty-five, my life hadn’t taken the path I thought it would and I was tired of waiting—I wanted a baby. And I was ready to take matters into my own hands to make it happen.
After our ill-fated elevator encounter, Emmett insisted on taking me to dinner—he also insisted on something else—that I ditch my plan involving a turkey baster and let him do the job. He would be my baby daddy. He was a wealthy and powerful CEO with little interest in diapers or playdates. And since he didn’t want kids, I’d be on my own once his bun was in my oven, free to go my own way.
But once his baby was inside me, it was like a switch had been flipped, and I got a whole lot more than I ever bargained for.
A chance encounter in a stalled elevator brings together Jenna, a single woman ready for motherhood and determined to make it happen all in her own, and Emmet, a successful CEO with no time, desire, or need for a baby. But what if they could each be the answer to the others predicament? Jenna needs a a donor to make a baby and Emmet wants Jenna and a little fun in bed. Easy. No strings attached and everyone wins. Simple…right?
Baby Daddy was funny, sweet, and with that perfect touch of Kendall Ryan sexiness we’ve come to love! I freaking loved Emmett. He’s the perfect mix of cockiness, seductive, and sweet. He had me at their first hilarious, awkward meeting in the elevator. Their chemistry is off the charts hot and their banter is hilarious. Watching them fall for each other was a feel-good treat hat left me with a smile on my face.
Narration by Sebastian York and Virginia Rose was so well done. No one does a sexy yet sweet alpha hero like Sebastian York. Virginia Rose was equally great as Jenna. This was my first time listening to this narration pairing and I was blown away. I look forward to more from these two narrators together. 5 Stars.
