Julia’s Review:

Move over Bonnie and Clyde, Solomon and Reina have taken your crown. They wear it well. Madman was beyond amazing. It was beyond incredible. I have no words for how great this story is. Solomon is truly a madman. He’s a madman I want though. He’s dark, hard, ruthless, psycho, and I love him so hard. Everything about this book demands your attention. I love how W.S. Greer set up the book. Each part of this story has a different view on how Solomon, Reina, and Nix grew up. The first part they were teens in love. She’s rich and he’s poor. Both hate the world’s they come from and both want to change that. They team up to do just that. After making some success Reina disappears. Without a trace.

The next part is seven years later and Solomon has done what he’s set out to do, become King. He’s feared, he’s respected, he’s King. After some problems with the local mafia things become interesting, especially when Reina shows back up after seven years.

I don’t want to say too much because honestly you need to experience this story yourself. The writing was beyond impeccable. The characters dark and gritty. Basically, every single thing I love about dark romances. He’s the villian. He sets out to make sure everyone knows this. Madman will sweep you away into a dark and ruthless world where you work for every single thing, whether that work is legal or not.

Title: Madman

Genre:  Dark Romance/Thriller
Release Date: February 5, 2018

People fear what they don’t understand. Maybe that’s why they all fear me. I’m sure they have their reasons, I just couldn’t possibly care what any of them are. As long as they’re afraid.
Born to a drug dealer father and a drug addict mother, I’ve been through enough to make a normal person lose their mind five times over. I’m not normal. Normal is for weak people, and I’m anything but weak.
My childhood was made of nightmares, but there was one light in all my darkness. Her name was Reina Wilde, and when my mother would hit me or pass out in the middle of the living room on her high, I would confide in her. We were from completely different worlds, but she meant something to me, though I never figured out what, because she left. In the years that followed, I built a reputation for myself, and let go of any and all deluded notions of love.
I’ll never go straight now. It’s just too much fun taking things from people who are powerless to stop me. And make no mistake about it, I take what I want, from who I want, when I want.
I’m infamous in this city. But everything changes when, after years apart, I finally see Reina again, and she’s standing next to my enemy–the underboss of the Philadelphia mob.
It’s not just about power anymore. It’s not about respect. No, this is personal now.
Gasoline has been thrown on the flame, and for Reina, I’m about to burn the whole world to the ground.
