The first thing to comes to mind after ending Trashy Foreplay is scorching. Gemma James does sexual tension like nobody I’ve ever read before. Holy hell. Even after the explosive finale on to the tension I’m left speechless. This whole ride was just one surprise after another. This whole book had me coiled so tight I wasn’t sure I’d ever be straight again. The writing was flawless, the characters were intriguing. Everything about this book screams five stars.
Jules is trying to start over after a mistake. A very big mistake. She ends up in Seattle and on the flight there she meets a man she has an instant connection to. They part ways only for her to show up at his workplace for a job interview. There she finds out that he’s married. There she finds out that the connection is still there and still crackles with so much tension she’s not even sure she should take the job. Cash is trying to prove his wife is cheating on him. Trying to divorce her. Trying to keep his connection to Jules under control.
This whole book left me reeling. Left me wanting. Left me begging for more. I can’t wait for more. I need to see how this works out. This is an explosive book!

a blend of genres, from new adult suspense to dark erotic romance. She loves to
explore the darker side of human nature in her fiction, and she’s morbidly
curious about anything dark and edgy, from deviant sex to serial killers.
Readers have described her stories as being “not for the faint of heart.”She warns you to heed their words! Her playground isn’t full of rainbows and
kittens, though she likes both. She lives in Oregon with her husband and their
four children–three rambunctious UFC/wrestling-loving boys and one girl who
steals everyone’s attention.
