Poppy Wyatt has never felt luckier. She is about to marry her ideal man, Magnus Tavish, but in one afternoon her “happily ever after” begins to fall apart. Not only has she lost her engagement ring in a hotel fire drill, but in the panic that follows, her phone is stolen. As she paces shakily around the lobby, she spots an abandoned phone in a trash can. Finders keepers! Now she can leave a number for the hotel to contact her when they find her ring. Perfect!

Well, perfect except that the phone’s owner, businessman Sam Roxton, doesn’t agree. He wants his phone back and doesn’t appreciate Poppy reading his messages and wading into his personal life.

What ensues is a hilarious and unpredictable turn of events as Poppy and Sam increasingly upend each other’s lives through emails and text messages. As Poppy juggles wedding preparations, mysterious phone calls, and hiding her left hand from Magnus and his parents, she soon realizes that she is in for the biggest surprise of her life.

REVIEW:
This review is going to be the easiest one I’ve ever written. I can literally sum up my feelings for this audiobook in two words: utterly charming! From the very first sentence to the very last, Sophie Kinsella has a gift for drawing the reader/listener in with her fun and clever storyline and cast of endearing characters that quickly become your friends.

Poor Poppy has lost her heirloom, engagement ring and has her mobile phone stolen all in one day. She absolutely cannot let her fiancé or his family find out, but she needs her phone to help track it down. Luckily she finds a replacements phone abandoned by the trash. She desperately needs one and finders keepers, right? Well, the owner of the phone, Sam, doesn’t quite agree. Especially when his calls and messages are now being received by Poppy.

I absolutely loved his story! It was a super light and fun romantic comedy that had me laughing out loud pretty much throughout the entire book. Rarely have I found a book where most characters are entertaining and downright enjoyable, but this book does just that. Although my favorites by far are Sam and Poppy! Those two are fantastic characters and are just freaking adorable as they interact with one another! Such a great story and characters that I truly did not want to say goodbye to.

Narration by Jayne Entwistle is fantastic! Her narration of Poppy’s antics is down right charming and very often laugh out loud funny. After listening I couldn’t imagine anyone else narrating this audiobook so well and found myself searching for more books narrated by her.

All in all this book was at times romantic, often times hilarious, and most definitely always sweet, I’ve Got Your Number is classic romcom magic! Superb writing by Sophie Kinsella and spot on narration by Jayne Entwistle make this an absolute must listen! 5 stars.
