Narration: Savannah Peachwood, Christian Rummel
BLURB:
They call him The Mute for a reason.
Hard, cold and calculated, he rarely speaks.
When he does, it’s with disdain.
When he does, his words aren’t meant for me.
When he does, my stomach flips and my world tilts on its axis.
He is thirty-three.
I am eighteen.
He’s a single dad and my father’s business partner.
I’m just a kid to him and his enemy’s daughter.
He’s emotionally unavailable.
And I am…feeling. Feeling things I shouldn’t feel for him.
Trent Rexroth is going to break my heart. The writing isn’t just on the wall, it’s inked on my soul.
And yet, I can’t stay away.
A scandal is the last thing my family needs. But a scandal is what we’re going to give them.
And oh, what beautiful chaos it will be.
REVIEW:
This book. THIS BOOK! It’s the final book in the Sinners of Saint series and holy crap did L. J. Shen go out with a bang! It was emotional, raw, and had me obsessed from the prologue.
I wasn’t ready for Trent and Edie as a couple. But I loved every minute of them. They are forbidden passion and raw lust, desire and sin, disaster and ultimate triumph. In other words they are EVERYTHING! This book was so freaking emotional and intense. I was consumed by these characters and their need for one another. Filled with beautiful angst and and probably the hottest scenes in the whole series. It was the perfect ending to this epic series.
Savannah Peachwood and Christian Rummel are perfection. Savannah Peachwood’s narration is consuming while Christian Rummel does an incredible job of bringing Trent to life. And oh my god that car scene! Listening to that come to life is worth the price of the audiobook alone and then some! #MustListen
